Josh Childress meets with the Milwaukee Bucks.
"Childress, who has the versatility to play shooting guard as well, is certain to command a hefty salary. The most money the Bucks probably could give Childress is $5.8 million...
In his first NBA season, Childress ranked third to only Emeka Okafor and Dwight Howard among rookies with double-doubles. Childress is also regarded as a top-notch defender."-Gery Woelfel

"Childress is also regarded as a top-notch defender"
Interesting. Not to mention the fact that he had a true shooting percentage of 65. To put that in perspective…
TS%
Josh Childress: 65%
Joel Pryzbilla: 65%
Shaquille O’Neal: 62%
Yao Ming: 62%
Greg Oden: 60%
Dwight Howard: 60%
Rudy Fernandez: 59%
Brandon Roy: 57%
Steve Blake: 56%
Hedu Turkoglu: 54%
Travis Outlaw: 54%
LaMarcus Aldridge: 52%
Doesn’t he sort of sound like a more reasonable option?

Pryzbilla actually has a slightly higher ts% at .652, which ranks him third among all players in the league.

Sessions..
I’m quite interested in the mention of Sessions in this piece. Since they are apparently hell-bent on saving skrilla, if the Bucks offered Childress a contract in the $5.8 mill range wouldnt they hesitate even more to match a contract offered to Sessions? The PG plot thickens…

Get him.
Childress and Sessions, both.
If we don’t get Hinrich or Miller for PG, let’s get Sessions.
Childress is someone I’ve thought about, off and on as a Blazer, for awhile now.
I like those guys.
