UFO'S, BigFoot, Loch Ness Monster and Chupcabras

Lets get some good discussion going down below, its been a long, hot, boring day. Not much in Blazer land right now but in the next 2 days prepare yourself for Utah to make its move. Dont be surprised if Utah matches our offer to Millsap even if they havent traded Boozer yet. Boozer is too good of a player and with an expiring contract he is even prettier! He is gone- I rate it as a 99%sure thing- and about the same for Millsap staying in Utah. With that being said- who do you think will end up in a Blazer uni next ? I vote for Bigfoot-hes a hell of a lane clogging, shot blocking beast-!ohwait!-we already got bigfoot(his name is ODEN). Well then I pick Predator. Then David Lee I guess.

rec for being a junk drawer

I’d love to see the Predator on the Blazers.. he totally had the toughness and athleticism we need in a backup 4…

that is fantastic

Now we just need to get him into a Blazer uniform, I worry that he may think Portland is too white for him.

I think Predator could start at any position

Big D from Blog-A-Bull - "Pritchard is such a genius that teams just give him players for free."

Greg Oden - The only other rookie with more than 500 points, 400 rebounds, and 65 blocks in under 1400 minutes played. Since 1946

right?!?

At least 2-5.. .I wonder about Nate trusting him with the point guard spot if he had issues with fouls or turn overs.

Lochness Monster should be on the Blazers.

With all that sneaky quickness, there wont be an opposing PG in the league that could D him up.

by BlazerBen on Jul 15, 2009 10:40 PM PDT reply actions

I don't remember Loch Ness being that quick

I mean he’s big, but he’s slow in this match.

Warning : Awful, awful wrestling in that link. So bad. So, so bad.

Predator. No question.

His invisibility and voice mimicking would be really helpful on the defensive end. His quickness would be great in transition. His shoulder mounted plasma cannon would come in really handy against the L@kers ( and the Grizz for that matter. I’m beginning to hate that team ). His retractable claws would be an intimidating presence in the paint. Bigfoot could clean the glass, and the loch ness monster would be great at eating space in the paint, but predator brings a set of skills no NBA players currently possess.

Also, as an added bonus, fans could always yell at predator the single greatest line of dialogue ever spoken in the history of cinema; " GET TO THE CHOPPA!!!!!!"

there is no doubt that the Alien is the backup 4 we need

he has speed like LMA, a killer instinct like B Roy, and size

Problem is, if he ever gets hurt,

You gotta replace the whole hardwood. What a pain.

Everybody was a baby once, Arthur. Oh, sure, maybe not today, or even yesterday. But once. Babies, chum: tiny, dimpled, fleshy mirrors of our us-ness, that we parents hurl into the future, like leathery footballs of hope. And you've got to get a good spiral on that baby, or evil will make an interception.

about a year

The Kings have the best bench I’ve seen. There are easily 14 guys on this team good enough for every bench in the league. Now if we could only get some starters, I’d totally jizz in my pants.

Whoa

Chill out.

I’d rather have her than the predator. She plays basketball. The predator just kills people. And…. she’s also smokin’ hot so…maybe I am a sexist. What of it?

How could you make this list and leave off the Biggest Bad@ of them all.

I vote Chuck Norris. He could beat any other team single-handedly with a blinding flurry of full-court roundhouse shots

by Tyler Durrden on Jul 16, 2009 4:22 PM PDT reply actions

Chuck Norris can slam dunk from his home arena... most impressive when playing in Boston or Miami

He gives new meaning to “The Glide” (No offense to Clyde, of course)

Blazers win!

Chuck Norris would be the first player to be called for a flagrant 3

What’s a flagrant 3? That’s what you get when you kick an opposing players entire body off

They are called on the Refs.

While Bigfoot would be nice....

and he IS an unrestricted free agent (I believe he was renounced by the Sonics as part of their transformation into the Thunder), I just don’t think we will be able to entice him. At least not until we cut Blaze….a move I heartily endorse.

no, no, no

Bigfoot is far too inconsistent. We can’t depend on that guy. Sometimes he shows up and sometimes he doesn’t. No one ever sees him practicing. And he’s terrible with the media. We’ve been trying to cultivate a better public image and we can’t have a guy on the team that won’t even pose for a decent photo.

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.
