4 teams talking to Sessions... sure hope we're one of them!
I would link to Brewhoop.com (or whatever the SBN site is) but there is no Sessions talk going on there. These Bucks fans are sure nervous about losing Sessions! Most say he's easily worth the MLE. What do they know that we don't? Is taking all of our cap space into the season really our best option?

No it is not our best option....
YET
There are still good options out there.
Big D from Blog-A-Bull - "Pritchard is such a genius that teams just give him players for free."
Greg Oden - The only other rookie with more than 500 points, 400 rebounds, and 65 blocks in under 1400 minutes played. Since 1946

Bayless will have to go if Sessions is the get
Bayless is a relentless competitor and has the potential to be a dominating PG in this league, depending on his improved playmaking abilities and understanding that defending guards in this league means keeping them in front of you, not bangin as 10yrs ago. Rex will not settle for a backup role longer than this coming season (if that).

I like Bayless
but he has done very little to show he is a starting pg in the NBA
The other option is that Sessions eventually backs up Bayless as they have very different games
Life is exhausting when you are this stupid.
I will talk about DeJuan Blair no more forever
Agree
Everyone is high on Bayless, but weren’t you nervous last season, and in the post season, every time he’s on the court. Lots of fouls away from the ball, lots of turnovers. I sure hope he becomes the player people think he will. Sure he’s a great summer league player, but I haven’t seen him play consistently well at all in the NBA.
Sessions has no ability to shoot the three
I don’t know much about his game, but what I do know doesn’t seem to fit.
In a vacuum, yes With a space suit.
That's not true!
He must have SOME ability to hit the three… And of all the things to be deficient in your game, that’s probably the deficiency that the most players have overcome while in the NBA. Look at Trevor Ariza, for example.
agreed
long distance shooting is the one skill that can be improved through repetition and personal scouting (Townsend, etc) The Blazer’s shooting coach has worked with Bayless for the last 12 months and could just as easily “break down and rebuild” Session’s jumper, if Portland chooses to acquire Ramon
Gary Payton is the classic example of a player who had no shooting range but improved throughout his career, mostly due to an offseason regimen
When reached 39 years of following Portland basketball you have, be as passionate of the Trail Blazers you will not!
