May was a really effective player when not fat and injured. If he can shake the weight issues, he’d be a great backup 4.

I like it. Let the man try out and see what he's got. The blazers brass has to know now that its only a matter of time before Utah matches for Milsap,
and that means it’s back to the drawing board for our banger in the paint. May would probably be available for super cheap, so he would be low risk high reward, as he showed to be pretty okay in the few games he played.

Wasn't he a top-ten pick?
He could be good. If he’s been humbled enough by his failure/injuries, and is in conditionwould take a one year, non-guaranteed contract, I’d say go for it.

he was a 12 and 7 guy in 05/06
while only getting about 20 minutes a night (and only 35 games). he has struggled with his weight, and had microfracture that kept him out for all of 07/08. in total, he has 4 years of experience and 82 games under his belt.
so uh.. hmm. all sorts of little positives and negatives all over the place. wild card!
GG MFer!

Sounds like he has a lousy work ethic.
Overweight (and trying to recover from microfracture surgery) and “lazy” defensively, according to Hollinger. Sounds like dead weight. Is Big Baby still around? I’d take him instead if so. At least he’s got heart.
