I will commit Seppuku if we can't wrangle a free agent this summer.
At least get one with the soon to be gone space and stash it away for a possible rainy day trade next season and beyond.
Did some of these agents/players not get the memo that the Blazers are just about the hottest team in the league?

Trade for Gerald Wallace!!
we're too stacked and they are all worried about pulling a Frye.
"There are a few teams you have to watch out for in the fourth quarter."
"Yeah, but Portland definitely is not one of them."
-New Orleans Hornets broadcasters at the end of the third quarter with the Hornets leading 74-59. Portland later ends up winning 97-89.
"They don't mind him shooting that shot at all. Rudy Fernandez is not that great of a 3pt shooter."
-New Orleans Hornets broadcasters right after a Rudy Fernandez missed 3pter. Rudy Fernandez finished the game with three 3pters on six attempts.

unless their client is more interested about winning than starting
Like Millsap, and unlike Lee
When reached 39 years of following Portland basketball you have, be as passionate of the Trail Blazers you will not!
Sucks to have to rely on division rivals
when you’re trying to dump salary.
I loved the response from one of the Jazz fans that they should move Boozer for Odom
It makes me laugh to even consider Odom ending up in SLC. He wants a beach! They have a beach in Salt lake, hey and the water is even salty like it is in LA. Maybe the Jazz fans should remember that Lamar is a FA. The Lakers can’t trade him to Utah. He would have to agree to go there. Call me a skeptic!
