Around SBN: Explaining Jeremy Lin's Early, Surprising Success

What a wonderful day at the Portland Antique Show, at the Expo center. I was meandering the rows, looking for Blazers merchandise as I do every year. Leaned up against a wall in the back, I I found the latest addition to my collection.

Feast your eyes on a Limited Edition Sabas Rookie Poster, framed. For ONLY 10 $ I was truly excited, it is already hung up on my wall. Tell me your thoughts on it & since its the off-season feel free to reminisce about classic Sabonis moments.

"There are a few teams you have to watch out for in the fourth quarter."
"Yeah, but Portland definitely is not one of them."

-New Orleans Hornets broadcasters at the end of the third quarter with the Hornets leading 74-59. Portland later ends up winning 97-89.

"They don't mind him shooting that shot at all. Rudy Fernandez is not that great of a 3pt shooter."

-New Orleans Hornets broadcasters right after a Rudy Fernandez missed 3pter. Rudy Fernandez finished the game with three 3pters on six attempts.

It is going on Sunday as well.

He has a full roster of cards with Clyde(& Buck I think) and an entire roster of a certain year(can’t remember which one). It is cased & matted, also glassed on the back, you can see their stats etc. If you haven’t bought it by the end of the day I will try to get it on the cheap. I will be sure to post it here if I do.

There is also a millenium ediiton post with Schrempf, Pippen & Smith. Only 10$, but I am going to buy it, unless you beat me to it :)

I will be take a pic of whatever I purchase.

Patience :)

The ball looks small in his hands (and it looks like a carry)

If you want to trade our spare parts for Devin Harris, I have three quarters I would like to trade for your dollar

The Next Talented Lithuanian Big Man

Donatas Montiejunas could develop some strength/toughness behind Greg & Joel until he is ready to back both the 4 & 5 ! :) Plus we can try to contact Sabonis as a coach for him ! Get it done KP. Oh and Rubio kthx.

Patience :)

It's pretty clear that the season is over already ;)
Double rainbow of sadness:

1) JBay is getting shorter
2) We never got to see him with a mustache

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.

OK, that should just about wrap up the goaltending discussion.
