Now I'm not suggesting anything xenophobic here, but I got thinking today... We have a horrible track record with foreign players, in fact I can't think of one foreign player that has not had some sort of disaster associated with them. Drazen Petrovich- died in a car accident. Ramon Ramos- paralyzed in a car crash. Ramon Martin- died in a car crash. Arvydas Sabonis- Held up from joining the team until he was almost over the hill. Attacked in practice by Rasheed Wallace. His model wife had all sorts of substance abuse issues. He left the team frustrated and ashamed. Now Rudy is infuriated??? Seriously is Sergio bound to die or be paralyzed? maybe I am just remembering badly, I hope so I do not want to be the harbinger of doom. Btw does anyone know where Turk is from? Please remind me of any substantial foreign player whose life has not taken an horrific turn after or during their stint with the blazers.
