Can’t say that him leaving really hurts or bothers me because it means we will have someone in his place that is better suited to contribute. Best of luck and can’t wait for the replacement!

Channing is a consummate professional, and he’s set the bar for other citizen athletes to follow. i, for one, always enjoyed his commitment to the organization, his passion for living, and his effortless tact with which you’ve represented yourself and your community through the media.

thank you Channing for teaching us all about dealing adversity with grace. while his presence will be sorrily missed, i’m excited for his continued success in the NBA community. nonetheless, he will continue to be respected and fondly remembered here in Portland.
