Pistons sign Gordon, Villanueva (likely meaning they're out on Hedo)
Don't see how they're still in on Turkoglu now. So it's down to us or Toronto.

They don't say why though. I'd like to know.
Maybe they are refering to this from oregon live.
“However, in order for Toronto to clear enough money to sign Turkoglu to the five-year, $60 million deal, it would have to renounce the contracts of Shawn Marion, Anthony Parker, Carlos Delfino, Patrick O’Bryant and Quincy Douby. The team is leery of taking that path, having that same tactic backfire last season when it created room for the arrival of Jermaine O’Neal.”
"It's better to have a good player with the basketball in late game situations than to have plays." - R. Pitino
"I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em."- Jimmy V
Go Blazers!!
Bulls fan here
I was wondering something, and one of your posters said wrong and left in regards to it (for which i have no idea what that means)
If you guys get turk i think it helps you alot especially if you then make a trade for kirk hinrich….which brings up my point
from the rumor ive heard and read on your front page, rudy doesnt wnat to be on the same team as turk, or rather, on the blazers with turk. The reason id imagine has nothing to do with player rivalry but more about playing time. Turk would probably get the most minutes at sf, and roy would get the most minutes at sg, so Rudy would be bounced around in terms of minutes and what position he plays.
So why not trade rudy and blake (and filler) for Hinrich and filler.
Here is what your roster would look like
Hinrich
Roy
Turk
Aldridge
Oden
thats a nice team balanced by offense and defense, and you have two really clutch guys who the defense on other teams have to watch out for….
bulls look like this
Rose
Salmons/Rudy
Deng/Salmons
Tyrus
Noah
I think this helps both teams out essentially, and with turk and kirk you get way better…..except apparently im “WrONG” so…..anyone care to explain why?
On Behalf of Sue, Wjb, majoyenrac, Bullshooter and all the other Hinrich fans...Ill keep the Hinrich Hope coming...There will be light!
i would prefer
outlaw and blake.
i think rudy is better than hinrich.
dinasour type of guys choir boys
im not looking at this in terms of that actually
but if rudy is essentially going to be leaving your team at any rate, why not trade him to the bulls anyway…
On Behalf of Sue, Wjb, majoyenrac, Bullshooter and all the other Hinrich fans...Ill keep the Hinrich Hope coming...There will be light!
not that desperate, yet
We’re trying to put a deal together for Devin Harris. Rudy/Blake/Outlaw, maybe the rights to Victor Claver since our Spanish Armada seems to be sinking and imploding
I know Bull’s fans would like to trade Cap’n Kirk, but “word is” now that Gordon is gone Chicago’s front office will hang onto Hinrich and let him backup Rose and Salmons
I was reading this just now over at Blog a Bull.
And I think it’s a pipe dream.
A trade of Blake and Rudy (+ filler) does not equate a trade for Hinrich and filler.
Yeah, horrible trade idea
Not like trading LaMarcus Aldridge for Chris Paul.
The Chicago Bulls.....the more profitable Los Angeles Clippers.

That's a bad trade for the Hornets
but their owner isn’t one of the richest men in the world, intent on winning a championship in the near future. Their owner is hemorrhaging money and looking to cut costs in the midst of an economic downturn in a rebuilding city.
That said, I didn’t suggest a trade like that and I didn’t run over to the Hornets board and suggest a low-ball trade for one of the more popular members of their team.
CV for $8M per.. $40M total??? How long before this looks like the worst deal in the league?
Maybe throwing all our cap space at Hedo is “below market”.
