Keep Hedo out of Portland!

The NBA: Where Amazingly Bad Officiating Happens.

Doug Smith was just on wheels at work and said he doesn't see how Toronto could offer that much.

He said Toronto would have to renounce rights to Marion and several other players to offer that much. Crap. I’ll bet Quick got that info from Hedo’s agent.

Yeah, Toronto would have to renounce the following players.

Shawn Marion
Anthony Parker
Joey Graham
Carlos Delfino
Primoz Brezec
Jake Voskuhl
Pops Mensah-Bonsu
Pape Sow
Uros Slokar

That’d leave the Raptors with approximately $49 million in salaries and cap holds.

I think we are finding out that we are bidding against ourselves

as we did with Darius Miles. I think we are offering Hedo a lot less than what we have been hearing.

WWOPD? What would Optimus Prime do?

Wow Toronto! You are so smart and lucky!

I wish we could pay Hedo 70mil/5 years, but we didn’t manuevre well enough. :(

Looks like you get the next Magic Johnson: Hedo.

I’ll bet you, Toronto, are a handsome devil too.

Yes!

If the rumors are true that Rudy is angry that the Blazers are after Turkoglu I sure hope he signs with Toronto. (Mike Bibby anyone?)

I'm not a big Bibby fan ...

…. but he might not be a bad fit. I’d wonder about dollars and length of contract though.

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.

OK, that should just about wrap up the goaltending discussion.
