The End-All Hedo Vote
Okay, first let me say im sorry if someone else (besides Dave or Ben)already posted some kinda Hedo vote, I must of missed it. Anyways, this post has 2 votes actually, 1 is a simple poll so we can get a decent percentage of who wants Hedo and who doesnt. The other vote will take place down in the comments. The comment section will be used to say only yes or no. Yes for getting him, no for not getting him. Please, No comments for why or why not, as we have all commented on that so much that everyone has expressed why or why not at some point by now. The other important part of the comment section to note is that it has your BE name posted right on it so there will be no denying in the future whether or not you wanted Hedo, because I will repost this post at some point in the future. So besides the poll, if you are brave enough, put a Yes or a No down below. Again, to all my BLAZER Brethren, thanks for participating. Oh, and so you know im brave enough, I say No!

Love his game. Love it.
$50 million is steep, but worth it IMO. We will be over the cap anyways, so what difference does it make?
Completely clueless as to why signing him would upset Rudy.
Uh. Because Rudy only starts if Broy slides over to starting SF?
So by getting Hedo for 9 mill/year, we’re telling Rudy that he’s a bench player as long as Roy and Hedo can play?

Well, Rudy is going to be unhappy anyway.
Rudy is easily one of my favs, but his days here are numbered. Could be two years, could be next week, but I’m gonna guess sooner than later. If he is so opposed to play second fiddle, then playing on a team with a star like Roy is sure to displease. I’m sure the media is blowing things up a little, but maybe he should play in Europe. He could make great money and would be guaranteed stardom. Kid’s got serious talent.
It could be he’s not aggressive enough and that it’s his problem, or maybe it’s true Mac won’t let him break out of his role as perimeter sniper. It probably is. He is very effective form behind the 3 point line and is filling a much needed role there. But unless he is leapfrogging centers with superhuman dunks every other time he gets the ball, he is always going to be coming off the bench, most likely as that perimeter shooter.
He is either going to outgrow his role here, or he’ll get super frustrated with it, split town by way of trade or free agency, and break out somewhere else. Maybe even back in Europe.
I hope to see him achieve great things, but come on Rudy, have some durned patience! You have the potential and opportunity to leave your mark on the NBA. Please no Rubio-esque fits!

Who is a better all-around alternative to Turk?
I think KP is doing the right thing here, but there is no way he is finished. Adding a 4th SF to the so-called expected playing rotation makes no sense. At least two of these 5 players will not be with us come August: Blake, Bayless, Rudy, Outlaw, and Webster. Everybody’s guess at this point is Blake & Outlaw, but who knows?
That turns my 'no' to 'yes'.
"The Edge... there is no honest way to explain it because the only people who really know where it is are the ones who have gone over."
Especially if it's for...
…a point guard.

We are probably going to sign him...
and still trade for a point guard. I can already see KP working his magic.
DONT DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PG? backup PF? we dont need a sf like hedo
How do you say "no" in spanish?
Oh wait, it’s “no” isn’t it?
I don’t want Hedo, ESPECIALLY with this talk of it pissing Rudy off. It just seems like it’s an unnecessary move right now. We’re a 50 plus win team last year… does Hedo REALLY improve us there?
Sigh… KP, don’t fail me… I want a PG.
"The brownies,'' Fernandez said after the game. "The brownies are good for me to make three-points.''

Yes/No depends on the follow up...
If this is the last move of the summer… No. N-O. Resounding negative. Absolutely not. Never in a million years.
If the follow up move is a trade combining one or two of those SFs with Blake for an upgrade at the point (cough cough, Hinrich, cough cough), a resounding yes. Hinrich Roy/Rudy Hedo LMA Oden/Joel is a beastly, beastly line up. Perfect mix of experience, passing, defense, offense, rebounding, toughness. (Disclaimer: Andre Miller does not fall within the scope of this paragraph. Andre Miller would be a dynasty killer. Please excercise caution when reading rumors about sign-and-trades for Andre Miller and do not operate heavy machinery when thinking about Andre Miller.)
Q: Is Greg favoring his knee?
Frye: He favors dunking on your head, that's what he favors.
he immediately becomes the clear cut starting 3 on a team without one,
He makes our team better. Is he too expensive? That’s entirely possible, but you have to make the team better. You have to. Dreaming for the perfect fit to fall in our lap won’t make it happen. This is an option that’s on the table right here and right now and it makes the team better. YES.
yer all nutcases if you dont want Hedo, he was the reason Magic went to the finals!
But i guess we dont care about that.
Momma.....der go dat man
Funny how that gets ignored
And here’s a seldom acknowledged and yet undisputable fact – Hedo was their primary playmaker on offense. No question about it. They lost their only other consistent playmaker – Jameer – around midseason and never missed a beat. Rashard is a pure shooter, Howard has no post up game, and the rest of the guys are role players. Hedo was the focal point, and that worked out pretty well.
Also, the Magic were the best defensive team in the league. Obviously much of the credit goes to Howard, but if you think Rafer Alston and the never-ending-carousel of two guards were locking down the perimeter, you’re nuts. Hedo is a solid team defender.
