Wow, someone doesn't remember that he wore number 11.
Some lousy Blazer fan must have edited that.

I think they did that to get it at the top of the list

ah, that makes sense.
And now my post ribbing you for doing it seems even more passive-aggressive.

Exactly.
It was a gentle nudge at you before, now it just looks like a sweeping condemnation of some anonymous Sabas fan.

And only 2 of those players SHOULD be retired
1) Walton
2) Drexler
You can make a case for Porter though, and I wouldn’t argue it.
No problem with Ramsey and Weinberg
How did you guys win that?

Yeah a player should be less 5-6 year players on the list of retired numbers
Here is a starting criteria, for players to get retired
Be the best player on the team that wins a championship and play at least 5 years for us
Be the best player and beloved and play at least 8 years. on a decent team.
Be the second best player on a team that makes multiple deep runs, play 8+ years for us.
For any other solid contributor they need 10 years and be one of the top cogs.
Key is good teams and longevity and a lot of the players on our list don’t play for us long enough, we should make sure this is an important point, to getting in to Blazer Retirement.

I think Petrie is borderline
simply for being the first meaningful player in franchise history. Most of them, though, are pretty ridiculous. Basically the equivalent of San Antonio retiring Mario Elie’s number or something.

At least we haven't retired
Michael Jordan’s number. or Dan Marino’s number.

...aaand it's gone.
Unfortunately, Weinberg, Twardzik, Hollins, Steele, Gross, and Neal are still up there.
