could you imagine
how hard it would be for mike rice to call games with Osiris Eldrige and LaMarcus Aldridge on the team. it would be a meltdown for sure.

Reporter: Four assists tonight too, Travis. You're starting to shed that idea that you're just a shooter. You're starting to pass the ball more too...
Travis: (Deadpans) Aw, I just got tired..
Haha it would be a trainwreck
Just like having Oden and Odom on the same team
The NBA: Where Amazingly Bad Officiating Happens.
he get Oden and Odom mixed up if he just thinks of the lakers.

Blair kinda reminded me of
Calvin Natt.
D-Blair looks like a ’tweener. Too short to start at the 4, probably not enough floor game to start at the 3
He’d be a nice reserve F to have, though
We don't need anyone to start at the 4
we need him to come off the bench and drink people’s milkshakes. Judging him just by looking at him tells me he’s quite equipped to handle this task. After Rubio and Jennings I have Blair as the next best fit on this team in this entire draft.
DAMION JAMES
Yes. I want him with our 24th as a 3/4 guy. Same frame as Rodman & I really love his draftexpress strengths;
Off Ball Movement
Timing
Transition Play
Commitment to Defense
Aggressiveness
Physical toughness
Role player potential
Ability to finish around the rim & through contact
Athletiscm
Strength
Rebounding ability
Offseason:
PG Options: Mike Conley(T)/Tyreke Evans(D)
SG Options: Terrence Williams(D)
Forward Options: Reggie Evans(T) - Taj Gibson(D), Damion James(D), Kevin Seraphin(D)
I have watched James a bit and he is dynamite
just not sure his fuse is ready to be lit yet. His physical measurements explain his dynamic play:
Damion James (Draft Express):
Height w/o Shoes 6’ 6.25"
Height w/shoes 6’ 7.5"
Weight 224
Wingspan 7’ 0.75" (12th)
Reach 8’ 10"
Body Fa t 8.2
No Step Vert 30.0
No Step Vert Reach 11’ 4" (8th)
Max Vert 37.0 (7th)
Max Vert Reach 11’ 11" (2nd)
Bench 14 (17th)
Agility 11.23
Sprint 3.09 (2nd)
( ) are mine from Draft Express Pre-Draft measurements for those measured at the combine 2009
You basically have a 6-7 guy who defends jumps like he is a 7 footer and runs like he is a 6 footer. James is projected to be a mid-second round pick.
"What's so interesting is that this team took on a dynamic that was very special. I don't think we as a group, in terms of management, coaches and players, realize what we did as a young team. We broke all the metrics. We broke all the molds. Our challenge is can we continue to do that. As young of a team with 54 wins, no issues off the court, phenomenal chemistry." - Kevin Pritchard
Ron Artest - May sign with a greek team
If he doesn’t get the offer he wants from an NBA team …
-Ron Artest as a willing and interested free agent target for both Greek powerhouses this summer, Olympiacos and Panathinaikos, granted he does not find a superior NBA offer on the free agent market.
Offseason:
PG Options: Mike Conley(T)/Tyreke Evans(D)
SG Options: Terrence Williams(D)
Forward Options: Reggie Evans(T) - Taj Gibson(D), Damion James(D), Kevin Seraphin(D)
I would LOVE
to see Artest playing overseas. Can’t stand that guy and all the drama he brings. Not to mention it’d be a lot easier for the Blazers to get past the Rockets with out him next year…

We have to draft a player with a name of Osiris
Don’t know a thing about this kid, but the name could brings us respect from the Gods
Oden/(Odin) is a norse god.
"There are a few teams you have to watch out for in the fourth quarter."
"Yeah, but Portland definitely is not one of them."
-New Orleans Hornets broadcasters at the end of the third quarter with the Hornets leading 74-59. Portland later ends up winning 97-89.
"They don't mind him shooting that shot at all. Rudy Fernandez is not that great of a 3pt shooter."
-New Orleans Hornets broadcasters right after a Rudy Fernandez missed 3pter. Rudy Fernandez finished the game with three 3pters on six attempts.
