Another reason to pass on Hedo
If Detroit wants to target Hedo instead of Ben Gordon... please let's not get in the way. My hope is the day after Gordon re-signs in Chicago, Hinrich will be having a press conference in Portland. Not sure this sportswriter can be trusted as they identify one of the primary free agents as Mike Bobby. They also justify Hedo as a target because Gordon would duplicate Rip Hamilton's position. I wonder if they have ever heard of Tayshaun?

I really hope they get Hedo
then we somehow get Prince from them. Prince >>>>> Hedo especially for us.
...Ricky Bobby!!
Greg Oden - The only other rookie with more than 500 points, 400 rebounds, and 65 blocks in under 1400 minutes played. Since 1946

Gawd... I really hope Hedo isn't in Portland next year
Sorry for anyone who has to read this… but I live in New Zealand and have no one to listen to my rant.
50 million!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! for the anti-Tayshaun Prince.
No offensive efficiency, BAD defender. Don’t even feed me lines about his supposed mediocre defense. It’s bad… Pryzbilla could beat him of the dribble bad. This is a painful thought.
Carter or Salmons at the trade deadline would be leaps and bounds better. I know I’m crazy, but I would rather have Outlaw than Hedo and I REALLY wanted trout gone last offseason.
The only news that could be worse than this is if Pritchard then extended offers to Variejo and Chris Anderson tonight… wow, that is an ugly thought.
OK, now I feel a bit better… sorry for those who had to read

Couldn't agree more, neilan
Blazers need to get better defensively, not worse. Hedo sure isn’t the answer to that problem.
(Love your country, btw. Visited there some years ago. Beautiful. And friendly, gracious people, too.)
Duct tape makes you smart.
Detroit
Detroit has the advantage. They have much more cap space than us. :)
As of Now
I am happy if KP could lay off the turkey glue and trade for Hinrich. Signing Hedo is a step back, not forward.
Getting Hinrich is a much better change than Hedo TurkeyGlue
I'm scared
but I have faith in KP to do what’s right. There’s no way he’ll drop over $10 mill a year on him, especially in a 4+ year contract. If he does, then damn KP, I thought you were better than that. Of course it could be part of his master plan that no one can even fathom.
As scared as I am, however, it would be interesting to see what Hedo could do on the Blazers, offensively that is. It gives the Blazers and incredibly formidable potential 4th quarter line-up of B-Roy, Rudy, Hedo, LaMarcus, and Oden. That’s exciting, but not worth tying our hands financially for the next 5 years.
