Cabezas was the one that the Knicks were supposed to have contacted..
…but that turned out to be cooked up by his agent, right? Hmm…

PT?
I’m assuming PT is personal time? I can’t help but think it would be great for Sergio’s development to be on that team. I know he’s not with us anymore but it still seems like he’s shooting himself in the foot.

I wanna see an NBA team playing a lineup of
Sergio (I’d say Rubio… but I’m starting to strongly dislike him)
Rudy
Claver
Pau
Marc
We’re the closest to it… so me might as well get Sergio back and make it happen. This could be our 2nd unit. lol

that would be one sick unit.
Maybe our first team can be frenchmen. At least we have Batum to start with.

Nice cover up by Sergio's agent
I heard the Spanish coach reads Blazers Edge and wanted no part of Sergio after Ben said he was a butthole in the locker room.

Could it be that Sergio wants to spend his summer doing whatever will help his game and his career the most?
If he has a choice between (A) playing for the national team and (B) working out and practicing some other way, then doesn’t it matter whether or not he would just be sitting on the bench or getting some playing time in the case of plan (A)? It would to me.
"Just kidding"

Sergio said it´s a priority for him to be ready for next NBA season.
He also said he could go to the National Team if the coach selects him but they should talk. The “I want granted playing time” conversation fits in previous Sergio´s speech, at least until Sergio explains what´s about that talk.

El Chacho is starting to sound like a broken record
It doesn’t seem like Nate was the whole “problem” but I’m sure Sergio’s Spanish friends will never forgive McMillian for “stunting” Rodriguez’ career.
Good riddance. But I wish him good luck with the Kings, except when playing the Blazers

He really demanded a set amount of minutes?
Why would he do that, when he hadn’t been a part of the team recently and with the strong competition at the PG spot?
Is there something we are missing? It doesn’t make sense to do that.

Is he maybe still feeling burned for not making the team in favor of Raul Lopez before?
It’s a big year coming up for him, but there is time to both play for the national team AND work on his game. It seemed like such a priority for him before is all.

I don't think he demanded X minutes per game
I think he wanted some kind of guarantee that he would play regularly because this year he is playing for a contract and it would be horrible for him joining the National Team and barely play. That happened in the ‘07 Euros in Spain, and next year he didn’t play in the Olympics, but he worked hard and show some progress in his game. So he must think that another ‘07 summer this year would hurt him next season. The media sometimes make things look worse than they are. I don’t blame him. He is in a complicated situation.

Not hating on Sergio but he is shooting Himself in the foot
He needs a new agent and a new[not I am an entitled star,I would be much better than Steve Nash if the stupid coach would just give me the keys to the car]tude

thanks, amlmart1 .. you're the man!
Very interesting .. Sergio’s not on the National Team.
Also, did I miss something .. why isn’t Calderon on the team?
This Spanish National Team looks awesome. They might be able to contend for the NBA championship. It took a team of NBA all stars practicing together for three years to win against Spain in the Olympics.
Just think if they ever play the Lakers Pau Gasol versus Pau Gasol! :)

Calderon said he wanted to use this offseason to get fully healthy and regenerated
As per the request of the Raptors. But that he would play for the Spanish national team for the future if they wanted him back.
