What do the PG drafts mean?
There were some interesting teams selecting point guards in the 1st round.
T-wolves- who can figure out Rubio and Flynn back to back? Something must be up with that- can't see them going forward with that combo and Telfair on the roster. someone has to move.
Even more interesting I found in relation to possible Blazer point guard possibilities-
Sixers taking Jrue Holiday- Miller must be figured expendable.
Jazz taking Eric Maynor- does this mean Deron Williams might be available?
Hornets taking Darren Collison- CP3 in a salary dump? I wonder why these teams with high level point guards and obvious needs elsewhere would spend such high draft picks on more point guards.
Also the Nets- in the VC trade, taking back Alston (another PG) and Courtney Lee (is he a combo or a point?). Quite a log jam with Devin Harris there.
Bottom line- lots of possibilities out there. Go get em KP.

Here are my thoughts:
Sixers took Holiday thinking he can be ready to take over for Miller in 2 years when Miller retires. I think it’s probably the same in Atlanta.
Maynor and Collison are both 4 year guys who are ready to contribute but with lower ceilings. They drafted backups to their stars.
Lee is a 2 guard and Rafer will backup Harris.
So, I’m thinking it means nothing for us. Sorry.

yes, there is a trade in the works there – one of those guys got drafted for some other team.
> Sixers taking Jrue Holiday- Miller must be figured expendable.
I figure they just think that Miller is getting a little long in the tooth.
> Jazz taking Eric Maynor – does this mean Deron Williams might be available?
I think they chose Maynor for backup minutes and in case Williams gets injured.
> Hornets taking Darren Collison – CP3 in a salary dump?
Again, just for backup minutes or in case of injury. He might be able to play next to CP3 for a few minutes a game, too.

I’d call him a combo
> and Courtney Lee (is he a combo or a point?).
I see him as a 2 guard.

Right on – I think there’s another trade brewing. Maybe with Minnesota. – Elgin
Without you out there, we're nowhere here

I missed a big one
Milwaukee Bucks drafting Brandon Jennings. He’s a definite 1 guards, with Sessions and Ridnour already on the roster. Could Sessions be available?

Sessions is a free agent
He will sign with whoever pays him the most.
That will probably not be Milwaukee or Portland.

due to his bird rights
we can not offer him all that much 32.4mil on 5 while Mil can offer 42mil on 6
I dont think 32.4mil on 5 is all that much given his production, age, and experience
Life is exhausting when you are this stupid.

Even though the Bucks dealt R-Jeff away
I don’t think they can afford to pay Sessions the max (without go into luxury-tax land) unless they let Charlie V walk

I don't know about the back to back PG drafting...
I mean, if your philosophy is BPA, and the BPA’s just happen to keep coming up as the same position, them’s the breaks. I was baffled by OKC drafting Durant then trading away an all star to get a second lottery pick and grabbing a second small forward. But they haven’t traded Jeff Green away yet. I’m sure they will eventually, but they haven’t after two seasons.

LOL!
Jazz taking Eric Maynor- does this mean Deron Williams might be available?
This is akin to saying we took Jeff Pendergraph so LMA might be available. After the lottery you are drafting players you hope to be starters but expect to be backups.
