Goodbye Turk in Orlando

Let me get this straight. Carter, Rashard, Pietris, Jameer all sit out at the 3 point line with Howard under the basket?

Crazy.

WWOPD? What would Optimus Prime do?

Turk no doubt gone

But good lord if they somehow find a way to resign him. (Seems impossible with Carter’s fat contract, but who knows.)

Devin Harris, anyone?

NJ just dumped Vince for Alston (etc)

If KP offered those Outlaw, Rudy, Sergio and capspace to take Harris’ contract off their hands, they could do that “3 × 17 = 51 mil” thing for 3 top free agents that as11osu was talking about, last month

NJ could be trying to get their payroll down below 11 mil heading into next summer

I’m not sure about the contracts of Lee, Alston and Battier, but if they’re all expiring the Nets are almost all the way there…they just need to find a taker for Harris…bingo!

because they made it to the finals

and Vince definitely makes them more dangerous which means the outcome could be different next time

I haven't checked the cap situation

but doesn’t Vince’s contract make it even more difficult to resign Hedo?

Lee was a big part of what they did, as was Hedo. A healthy Jameer and motivated Vince can certainly be considered the better combo, but it’s a pretty significant change.

they probably will let hedo go

Vince is better than him

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.

OK, that should just about wrap up the goaltending discussion.
