Jennings, Maynor, or Casspi? If you had to choose.
With so many rumors swirling about, I just wanted to take stock on what you Blazers fans would be happy with if we kept our pick at 22 and ended up seeing these players available: Brandon Jennings, Eric Maynor, & Omri Casspi. Who would you choose out of those 3 if you HAD to pick one?
Personally, I'll admit that I am not too versed on Maynor's game, but for a couple of weeks I've been thinking that he seems like a KP kinda guy, and he is the one guy that if I had to put $ on that Portland would end up with, he'd be the one I'd bet one. Although I would put the probability factor at 8%. 4 years in college. A good leader. Not the best shooter, but seems to have a great head on his shoulder. For those better versed with him, does he remind you of another Jarret Jack, or do you think he has a higher ceiling? (if not, then I hope we don't pick him)
With rumors that Jennings is falling (christmas trees come to mind), and that Omar is a 'safe' pick for Portland, how knows what will happen.
Hopefully, this day isn't similiar to the trade deadline of a few months ago, which for Portland was full of sound and fury, signifying nothing. For those who participated in the poll, thanks for your opinion!

Jennings
the guy may have issues, but he’s a top 10 talent. Hope to fix his head and/or flip him to another team. huge potential for payoff at the #22 spot
How did you guys win that?
"We scored enough points. We scored 107, they scored 105.

Jennings in a second
Maynor is the new Randolph Childress (or possibly Acie Law). Casspi is Matt Harpring. At worst, Jennings is Nick Van Exel with more hops.

I voted Jennings
Potential PG rotation: Hinrich/ Bayless/ Jennings
Jennings might get the 08/09 rookie treatment of riding the pine that Bayless did. It’s would be interesting to see those two pitted against one another for backup minutes. They both chose to go to school at Arizona (although Jennings obviously changed plans), so you have to believe that they shared some common values. Potentially dangerous sure – but worth the risk.

Jennings without question
He’s a top 5 talent in any draft. It’s all about his head. In this draft it’s a no-brainer pick.

Agreed
High Risk/High Reward… take a chance, it’s not like we NEED the 2nd pick to play immediately?

Yep if Jennings is available at 22
I take him no second guessing. One of 5 prospects in this draft with star potential.

WORD UP.STAY.FRESCO
How about Irrelevant now.
Jennings most up side but most questionable character I don’t care what publicity said to improve his image he isn’t the character person.
