Rondo to Memphis for Gay and Conely is apparently very likely to go through.

whats going on with rondo

1st I see on ESPN they tried him and allen for prince hamilton and stuckey now this ?….is rondo a locker room cancer ?

The Blazers will play beautiful basketball.

Brandon will shoot the lights out. Blake will run and LMA will finish strong at the hoop. Bayless will play because we’ll be so far ahead in the 4th quarter, giving all the Jerryd fans something to smile about.

But wait, that’s not all. Rudy will go 5 of 5 from distance. Batum will posterize someone. And Channing will NOT lead the team in points.

Apparently yes

My conspiracy theory is that the Cs think KG’s injury is really, really serious, and they’re frantically retooling because they think their window is closed.

Something is definately wrong.

I guess we won’t know which side it is on. The one article on him being a cancer doesn’t make it so.

That being said, I don’t ever want to see him in Portland.

I agree with the above that KG’s career as KG is over. He may start a new one as Channing Frye, but no more true ability.

I would laugh at Rondo if he goes to memphis

"shaq and zach randolph have the same trainer... "

Gay will definitely be very gay if this trade goes through.

Being traded away from Memphis is like driving out of Hells Canyon…unless you are being traded to OKC, or the Clippers..then it would be like driving out of Hell’s Canyon and having your car break down in Baker City

"There are a few teams you have to watch out for in the fourth quarter."
"Yeah, but Portland definitely is not one of them."

-New Orleans Hornets broadcasters at the end of the third quarter with the Hornets leading 74-59. Portland later ends up winning 97-89.

"They don't mind him shooting that shot at all. Rudy Fernandez is not that great of a 3pt shooter."

-New Orleans Hornets broadcasters right after a Rudy Fernandez missed 3pter. Rudy Fernandez finished the game with three 3pters on six attempts.

Must be something else to it

Rondo was one of the best for the Celtics in the playoffs and if they had Garnett who knows how far they may have gone.

Looks like they are hitting the panic button a bit to soon.

Where do the Celtics put Rudy Gay?

the 2, 3 and 4 spots are locked up. If Garnett is out of commission then Gay can be a small PF for them, but that isn’t a great fit. Maybe they can trade Ray Allen in some other deal then move Pierce to the 2 and play Gay at the 3.

Celtics could be using this as a diversion to talk to teams

They can get a feel for how easy it is to move up.

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.

OK, that should just about wrap up the goaltending discussion.
