Celticsblog: Target Trout and Sergio ...
(Outlaw would be very dangerous in Boston. Would his liabilities travel with him, or would vets like KG whip his D and O IQ into shape? If so, Yikes.)

I hope not
I honestly think Boston could be a good place for Travis, but I don’t see him meshing well with more demanding personalities.
KG would make travis cry like big baby
either that or KG’s head would explode from trying to figure out how Travis makes the same mistakes over and over again.
Funny story: I remember watching a game last season (I think the last one in Memphis) and Rebecca Harlow (sp?) was sideline reporting after a blazers timeout where coach Nate was imploring his team to stop shooting jumpers and basically ordered them to force the ball inside. huddle breaks, ball swings to travis, and he jacks up a contested 18 footer early in the shotclock without even looking at his teammates. the look on nate’s face was priceless. would KG put up with that? I hate the guy but it would be refreshing to see someone smack travis upside his head after a bonehead play like that. who knows? maybe he could still learn
The Blazers as a whole are far more like my wife than like me in the sense of their physicality on defense.

it's Haarlow with two As
You’re point re: Outlaw is well-taken, unlike most of his jumpers. This is why I’d love to see Travis traded to Utah or San Antonio, just to hear* about the “interaction” he would have with coach Sloan or Pop
- from a distance, mind you. Not up close
not really Celtics roster is full of Ego maniacs. travis would feel like he doesnt belong
KG, Pierce, Marbury, i heard something about ROndo
"shaq and zach randolph have the same trainer... "
best one liner i ever heard.
Unless we are trading for Rondo
how does Outlaw end up on the Celtics?
Ben II Blazersedge.com || New to Blazers' Edge?
ok just read the Celticsblog post
even more silly, “the Blazers are trying to dump Outlaw’s $4million salary…”??? If they wanted to do that they would just cut him! And good God I hope we don’t really sign Hedu, what a monumental mistake that would be. God help the team that gives him the contract he wants.

Well it would make some sense to trade him, but rather e.g. to Memphis for a future protected first round pick
and memphis would actually have a home crowd supporting their team when we play them.

"Yeah, but Portland definitely is not one of them."

agreed. It was a stupid post, but an interesting idea if there are three or more teams involved.
Don’t get me wrong, I love some good Trout, but bad Trout is bad. Where does it balance, and do other teams see both fish? I dunno.
Rudyculize: The act of Rudy making others look slow, dim and generally oafish.

There isn't anybody on Boston that I would want more than Outlaw

I'd take Powe
But Leon’s out until the first of the year, and I think he’s a RFA, regardless. Maybe a sign and trade?
Obviously Rondo would be the best “catch” but I doubt Rajon’s going anywhere
Outlaw in green? I have a friend who’s been a C’s fan for awhile, it would be fun to taunt him re: Trav
look at the
original source:
nbadraft.net
the worst site with the best domain name.
Draft Express is a 1000x better draft site
Collegiate stats:
NCAA Arizona:
Jerryd Bayless: 19.7pts, 4.0 asts, 3to
NAIA Wisconsin-Stevens Point
Terry Porter: 19.7pts, 4.3 asts, 2.33to
yes!
nbadraft.net is pathetic. I haven’t looked on there for draft info in 3 years but I’m sure it hasn’t improved much

They have at least two good writers. Aaran Smith nailed Roy's draft profile the best I have seen yet.
What is often a bit off is the player they are comparing a draft prospect to. And I like that they rate the players qualities on a scale instead of just describing strengths and weaknesses with many fluffy terms. Their rumors are not as good and their profiles not as comprehensive as DX, that one is certainly true.
Outlaw? liabilities? Travel? was that a freudian slip?

The post over there makes me feel much better about some of my early trade posts
“…how about if New Orleans trades us Chris Paul for Sergio and this half of a Flying Pie pizza?”
“Still not enough” you say?
I think we still have the rights Ha Sueng Jin. How ’bout now?

Ha makes Yao look like a Model/Athlete
and Yao may even win the Slashie award.
