At least it's more than the Spurs blog.

They only have 10 followers. If their tweets are as boring as watching the Spurs play then I totally understand.

that seems like a crazy huge number to me.

Not a big deal

I like #3’s comment though: “We’re super close to 2,000 followers. I don’t think anybody’s gotten that many followers before”

I think twitter

is one of the most useless things ever invented.
I´m sure most of you disagree with me.

I've been seeing the mighty words "twitter"

I don’t own a cell phone so…. does it do me any good?

dear twitter

I don’t care about constant updates from the daily lives of everday, and famous people. frankly, i would think having a website would be enough internet presense

Eh

The first to 5000 thing was kind of a contest among SBN blogs. I’m pretty sure had we publicized it we could have done it in short order, but it didn’t seem like the kind of thing to mobilize for. If we won it, everybody would say, “Well…of course.” No fun in that. It means more to have somebody else win it.

By all means join the Twitter feed if you follow that kind of stuff though.

That'll be Portland's excuse if we don't win a championship.

Well, we could have won it (obviously), but it just didn’t seem fair!

Twitter is worse than IM

I don’t want people to bother me all day with meaningless chatter, which is why I can’t stand either IM or Twitter…………….strange since I am part of the internet generation.

Portlanders are better than Twitter

We have much better attention spans than people in places like Los Angeles and Oklahoma.

You can use twitter without text.....

…in which case it’s pretty handy. I just check the app, and in one place I can see if Simmons or BEdge has anything new up, what the current woot deal is, and if shaq has said anything funny.

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.
