Is LeBron a spoiled brat?
I wanted to know what others thought of this. I heard he walked off without talking to media, but I didn't realize that he didn't shake anyone's hand or congratulate them. What do you think of this article. Just trying to shake things up in slow basketball news time, or is it something to think about for LeBrons future teammates?

I'd react exactly the same in his situation
He’s such a cool customer all the time that I can deal with occasional “outbursts” like this.
He is getting Kobe styled hate.
The ink of a scholar is worth a thousand times more than the blood of a martyr.
he was acting like a petulant child
if anything it shines the light on his youth and reveals his mental thoughness at this point.. he’s not there yet. he isn’t as great yet as he and everyone has purported him to be.
it’s not THAT big of a deal.. he’s just a sore loser.. but if he’s soo great.. he shouldnt be such a sore loser

You're right
but he can mature. It’ll be tough for him because you need coaching. If AW is right, there’s no one to guide him through. He’s probably a good kid in most respects, but a dose of humility would help.
Nadal lost the other day, walked over and congratulated Soderling. That’s honorable. James is still a prince.

the post match handshake
in tennis (or hockey for that matter) is way more traditional than in basketball. Is anyone talking about any of the other Cavs that didn’t shake the Magic’s hands? Did any other Cavs shake the Magic’s hands? This is a non-issue.
It's traditional in Bball too.
All the greats did it. It’s part of sportsmanship. All sports play here, not just tennis.
It may be a non-issue, but it says much about his character. Hopefully, he can be magnanimous in the future.

I have never liked Nadal
I saw that and dislike him less now.

Yes, most of the team
Stayed back to congratulate the Magic..hugging, handshakes, everything. Except Lebron and one other person (Williams? Wallace? I dunno). It’s very poor sportsmanship. I would be embarrased if Brandon Roy stalked off into the locker room immediately. Lebron did everything he could, it was the rest of his team that failed.
All I’m sayin, it does make him look like a baby.

i don't see any problem with what he did at all.
the guy played his heart out, turning in an unbelievable series but got no support from his team and they ended up getting beat by what he (and others, including me) probably thought was an inferior team. I would have been pissed too and wouldn’t make a point to go shake the hands of the people that just beat me.
If he is it's not because of this
What he said the next day was one of the most honest things I’ve seen an NBA player say in a while. He is a competitor, he hates to lose, and right after you lose you’re not exactly in the mood to congratulate the guy who kicked your butt. Seriously, in little league baseball who here would liked cheering for the other team and giving high fives to them after you lost. I’d have skipped it if I could.
Also, he knows that reporters will be swarming to HIM almost exclusively to ask him questions about losing.
It can’t help the fact that he had some completely insane numbers, but that EVERY supporting member of his team just completely choked.
Its Easy To dance around and pantamime taking pictures , stupid pre game crap.
When your winning . But when times get bad he won’t talk to anyone? All hail King baby !

Not a spoiled brat, just a huge ego-freak ...but this shouldn't be news to anyone
Things that might seem normal to some people, like sportsmanship, don’t apply in Lebron’s mind because anybody who’s not Lebron really doesn’t matter. Why? Because that’s what he’s been told his entire life by the gaggle of sycophants that surround him. Spoiled brats are usually somewhat self-aware. Lebron is just completely oblivious.
There’s a major difference between a guy like Tiger Woods, who shows how great he is with his actions usually rather than his words and Lebron, who never passes up a chance to tell the world how great he is before he’s really even accomplished anything – as far as winning anyway.

P.S. This opinion isn't just based off this one incident, but a pattern of constant behavior
Lebron is in love with himself, of that there is no doubt. The only thing that is doubt is if all his self-love is warranted. Right now (ZERO NBA CHAMPIONSHIPS) I would say it is not.

Ummm
He’s the best player in the world, easily. If you were the best person in the world at something as popular as basketball I imagine you’d be a little bit of an egomaniac as well.
Honestly, it I were him I would be telling my management to get me at least 1 worthwhile teammate to win a title with or I’m gone after next year.
Yes
His behavior is a good example of the entitlement generation who were brought up expecting everything to be given to them without earning it. No offense to those under 25, but that’s how it is. You wouldn’t see Jordan, Bird, Kareem, or even Kobe throw a tantrum because they lost.

We could be misjudging him
LeBron James had a benign growth removed from his right jaw area today at Cleve. Clinc. He’s fine and there should be no lasting effects.

Not sure why this is relevant, but it’s always good to have all of the info.

here is another article about his behavior

This guy is really defending LeBron, which is fine, but it almost sounds like he’s hoping LeBron reads it and gives him an interview.
