Oden...Aldridge...Roy.....THE REAL BIG THREE

To be honest

the Rubio hype is getting a bit old. This guy is far from being a proven talent that will work in the NBA. Not to mention all the nonsense going on with his buyout complications almost makes him not worth the effort and headache, IMO.

Greg Oden = Robert Parish - The only other rookie with more than 500 points, 400 rebounds, and 65 blocks in under 1400 minutes played. Since 1946

Totally agree

I watched all of his Olympic games and he couldn’t throw the ball in the ocean. Comparisons with Pistol Pete are insane.

Perhaps

Because of how far his game is ahead of Tony Parker when he came over. http://www.ibiblio.org/craig/draft/2001_draft/Players/parker.shtml

Offseason:
PG Options: Terrence Williams(D), Rodrigue Beaubois(D)
SG Options: Mickaël Piétrus(T)
PF Options: Ronnie Turiaf(T) - Taj Gibson(D), Kevin Seraphin(D)
C Options: Alexis Ajinca(T)

Dan Peterson (former Delaware head coach, former coach in Italian league, analyst)

Peterson went on to say that he liked Jennings’ quickness and talent, but didn’t think he was NBA-ready. Rubio, he says, is NBA ready. “One of the things that happens in the NBA, everybody has a theory on what a guy can’t do. That’s all you hear. Sacramento would be very lucky to get Ricky Rubio. It would be a good place for (Rubio), the capital city of California, not too big. He is just a terrific player, though he needs to improve his three-point shooting. He gets into the lane, draws fouls, has the whole package. People would love him there. He’s a winner. I would throw myself in front of a bus for Ricky Rubio. But I would have a hard time having Brandon Jennings on my team. I would send him home.”

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.

OK, that should just about wrap up the goaltending discussion.
