NICE SHORTS!: Sitting in a slummy Manila neighborhood enjoying a (kinda) cold one when I see this kid.
Yeah, there are plenty of Lakers jerseys in the world. But I'll take quality of quantity 9 times out of 10.
The Philippines are crazy for B-ball. Draft international!

Things are good; thanks for asking Prez.
Got no work, but neither does anyone else, so I’m not so surprised.

At least another two years.
We took a trip to Tokyo recently and totally loved it. Hopefully we’ll get to do that again … or maybe a future move. Problem is it is SUPER spendy. Everything costs NY prices or more. Crazy.

My friend and I once spent $30 each on shrimp tempura in Tokyo
We just ordered and didn’t realize it until the check came
I remember when I was there seeing a basketball hoop set up in the middle of a sugar cane field...
and the court was mud. They are HARDCORE ballers!
I didn't mean to turn you on
Yeah Filipinos are huge basketball lovers.
When I play pickups games here in LA they are the majority of who I play, and they’re pretty good too.
draft international?
It may look silly to you, but when it comes to hoops, no one in that country is messing around

Pinoy basketball!
Manilla ball is pretty competitive. Did you get a chance to play in any gyms?
Gotta love the Blazer rep since everyone there is a Laker fan it seems… retch
One of my soon to be inlaws built a half court on his roof. I was surprised by how into basketball they all were.
Curious
How tall was that kid approx. – nothing nearby to gage that….
Brandon Roy, 'nuff said.
Best draft of all time: "1942, right after Pearl Harbor….everyone got drafted" --- 92wastheyear
um ... 5'4" to 5'6" or so.
A little short for our team.
On the other hand, I’m all of 5’8"ish and the Draft Express profile in my head has me as a “banging” Power Forward with a swirling, lopsided upside.

5'8" also
…I’m representing the human version of little dog syndrome like my pug – apparently my wife is happy with it…. :-)

Is this what the kids call a bromance?
