In this recent Most Valuable Puppets commercial, the overt message is LeBron James' pending free agency in 2010.
The underlying message, however, concerns that eastern bluebird in the background, which symbolically flies away to New York at the end.

I thought the bird meant
LeBron was going to join twitter… I need to learn how to analyze commercials better I guess.

It could be a Jayhawk
He is going to Kansas City. Or OKC. Or a Blue Jay. He is going to Toronto.

I think the point is that he's working out for next year
because he blew it this year. However your take is much more provocative. I can almost hear skip bayless blathering on about it now. Woo controversy. Yawn.

If he was using normal numbers I'd say it is possible
But ending his count with 2010, and then a birdy flies away…
It isn’t that extreme to think they were sayin’ something with that.

I hate those commercials
High on my list of dumbest ad campaign ever. Very close to “Go Meat!”

I don't like the ones without Lil Dez
but for some reason that kid cracks me up. In real life, it would drive me nuts.
I was only vaguely paying attention to the last finals game from another room, and one of those commercials came on, and I actually walked back into my living room to watch it.
On the other hand, the only Nikes I own, I got for $16 on the clearance rack at Freddies.

I'm sure Nike can't wait for LeBron to flea Cleveland.
Unfortunately for the Cavs, they’re pretty blatant about it.
