All-NBA Team Vote
I don't know when the All-NBA teams are going to be announced, but it should happen very soon. The voting is conducted by a panel of sportswriters and broadcasters from the US and Canada (e.g. Jason Quick, we already went over the discussion when he put Deron Williams ahead of Roy).
It's three lineups of five players (first, second, third team was added in 1988). Players receive five points for a first team vote, three points for a second team vote, and one point for a third team vote. In a case of a tie at the fifth position of each team, the roster gets expanded (rarely). Each team MUST consist of two guards, two forwards, and one center. So no three or four guard lineups like it frequently happens on All-Rookie teams. It doesn't have to be a traditional PG, SG, SF, PF, C lineup though.
Here would be my vote for the 2008-09 season:
All-NBA First Team
G: Chris Paul
G: Dwayne Wade
F: LeBron James
F: Dirk Nowitzki
C: Dwight Howard
Second Team
G: Brandon Roy
G: Kobe Bryant
F: Paul Pierce
F: Pau Gasol
C: Tim Duncan
Third Team
G: Chauncey Billups
G: Rajon Rondo
F: Kevin Durant
F: Chris Bosh
C: Yao Ming
Some explanations:
Brandon Roy must be on the second team (homer, homer). I think Kobe WILL get first team, but he shouldn't. Pierce might also make first team judging by MVP votes, but again he shouldn't. Duncan gets still considered as a center here, don't know how he was on the ballot. I was considering to go with Harris over Rondo, but ultimately didn't. Carmelo will probably get it over Durant in real life, maybe Granger. And of course many other combinations are possible.
What would be yours?

Defensive teams have been announced already, so I didn't put those in. Howard and Kobe got the most votes.

Oops. I don't like him, but statistically a very good point. Okay, I would put him on the third team and hope he doesn't take Roy's spot in real life
I'd put Duncan on the 1st team as a Forward or go with a small lineup with Kobe as a Forward
I think Dirk is a 2nd teamer.
I’m not much for worrying about positions on All-NBA teams— its not like they are actually playing games.
Parker will definitely make one of the teams (and deservedly so). I wouldn’t be surprised if he makes the 2nd team and pushes Roy to 3rd team.
my guess(maybe not my preferences):
1st team
G: Dwayne Wade
G: Kobe Bryant
F: Lebron James
F: Tim Duncan
C: Dwight Howard
2nd Team
G: Chauncey Billups
G: Brandon Roy
F: Dirk Nowitzki
F: Paul Pierce
C: Yao Ming
3rd Team
G: Brandon Roy
G: Deron Williams
F: Chris Bosh
F: Kevin Durant
C: Shaquille O’neal
oops got brandon there twice
2nd team guard: Tony Parker
oops
Put CP3 on 2nd team drop Tony to 3rd team and Deron off.
I’m also thing that Durant won’t make it and Gasol will get the 3rd team spot.
Mine would be
1st Team
G: Wade
G: Bryant
F: LeBron
F: Duncan
C: Howard
2nd Team
G: Paul
G: Roy
F: Granger
F: Nowitzki
C: Yao
3rd Team
G: Deron Williams
G: Tony Parker
F: Pierce
F: Gasol
C: Shaq

Speaking of Quick... I sure hope he doesn't do what Seattle's writers did.
In 1996, Alex Rodriguez missed out on the AL MVP by 3 points. Juan Gonzalez won it instead.
Seattle’s sportswriters didn’t think highly of Alex. One voted for him in third place, the other left him completely off the ballot. If they’d actually voted for Alex, he’d have won the award. Long time M’s fans have never forgotten (but it’s been eased by what Alex became after he left).
I sure hope Brandon doesn’t drop from second-team to third-team because of Quick’s vote. It would be… interesting to see the fan backlash against Quick.
Well, at least it would take the heat off Oden for a bit.
Cp3s defense is vastly overrated.
I got 6 years of playoff blue balls going on, and I'm ready to release. GO BLAZERS. ~Mortimer
he gets alot of steals
he makes it onto the All Defense teams based on stats.

I hope B-roy...
makes the 2nd team, he deserves it. But so does Parker and the media might not agree with me.
Blazers+Blazersedge=Mind Blown
The only logical answer:
1st Team:
Wade
Kobe
Lebron
Nowitzki
Howard
2nd Team:
Roy
Paul
Pierce
Duncan
Yao
3rd Team:
Deron
Parker
Bosh
Granger
Shaq
Roy should be 2nd team.
It’s tough to push Parker to 3rd team, but honestly I think Roy’s got the edge and it’s hard to argue statistically. They’re close but I think Roy has a slight edge, and it doesn’t hurt that his team overperformed while Parker’s underperformed.
If he could be a Small Forward
We could get Pierce out of there and it would be easy.
