Watching the Blazers: while in the Spanish countryside

I recently went traveling around the Southern Spanish countryside. It's a very very nice place if you've never been. I recommend going there, especially if you don't have Comcast in your area.

Let me tell you a little about the Spanish countryside. For one thing, there's old men on Donkeys, fat old ladies dressed in black and NBA basketball on the TV, including our Trailblazers.

Imagine the surprise when I was sipping a beer in a fallen down wooden country bar , not speaking a word of Spanish, when I hear the names Rudy Fernandez and Portland Trailblazers coming from the TV. It seems as that Rudy is already a big name in Spain and the people in Spain have followed his adventures all the way to Portland. I was dancing up and down , yelling and pointing at the TV trying to explain to the confused old men in the bar that I lived in Portland and go to the games every week.

The irony of it all is that a lot of Blazer fans who live in Oregon don't get to see the games on there TV screens, were as In Spain you can see live games in the middle of the night in smelly little bars in the mountains.

Now that's Comcastic.
