Slighty OT: Internet Collaboration, Sports, and you owning the Blazers?

Us Now from Banyak Films on Vimeo.

I would encourage you to watch this documentary about the internet, collaboration, and how it can affect local government, businesses, social groups, and sports.

If you would just like to watch the segmment on sports, it starts at the 16:15 minute mark and talks about sport for about 15 minutes.

The sports segment talks about Ebbsfleet United, the first web-community owned football club. Thats right, internet people like you own a part of the club and make decisions on who plays, financial budgets, and all parts of owning and operating the club.

It is really a revolutionary concept that I find really intrigueing. So, if you could watch the clip and post your comments below with your thoughts I think this would a really fascinating discussion.

Would this concept work for a pro franchise in the US? Would it further increase your involvement in a sports team? How sweet would it be to start Greg Oden at point guard just one time?

I would love to hear your thoughts
