Grizzlies GM Chris Wallace: "Unless we find out that Griffin has two heads or something like that in his physical examination, it's a pretty straight-forward decision."
I’ll probably watch Joventut play this morning.
Fearthesword.com: "There is no doubt that the long layoff, combined with the ease of the first two rounds had the Cavaliers a bit tired in the 4th quarter."
I´m fan of Unicaja Málaga
who is your favorite team in this round?

Portland owns the draft rights to Gran Canaria’s Joel Freeland, so I’ve been rooting for them.
Omar Cook is a former Blazer.

I will recommend that you look at Carlos Cabezas

Rubio is going to have problems guarding the pick and roll in the NBA
Fearthesword.com: "There is no doubt that the long layoff, combined with the ease of the first two rounds had the Cavaliers a bit tired in the 4th quarter."
let me clarify. I think Ricky will need to add a lot of strength to play NBA defense and defend the pick and roll. I think he’ll eventually be a very good defender.

And here we go with our little Spanish scouting course
How many NBA executives are watching now, too :)
If DKV loses this like it looks like, Rubio will probably be in the US next week for the combine or for interviews
Yeah Norskie
Ain’t that the truth. And with all the noise his camp is making about not playing in Memphis or OKC, that stuff will take on even more importance.

I missed a part of it shopping
Not really, but Cablinasian made a good emphasis that pick and roll defense is not his strength. He plays on-ball defense as a ball hawk and the passing lanes very well, but team defensive schemes might be something he will need time to adapt to in the NBA.
His lack of strength is a problem
If he was 22 years old this would really concern me. He’s not even 19 yet. LOL

Plays into the questions about his strength and ability to fight through screens. On at least one play he wasn’t even aware a screen would likely come.
I expect it will take him 2 years to really adapt to the NBA

yup. it takes most point guards a few years to adjust to the NBA.. Just a tough position.

Not really sure what it means to be honest
Other than I see what the Kings ask players to do in their workout’s.

Often. And Joventut is fairly international now with Cobe Karl, Moiso, Jagla, Norel, ...
The German national team coach spoke English with his guys even before Chris Kaman joined
I think it's done for communication primarily
But also for bonding so that people aren’t left out of the cold consistently.

Yep
Most of em have to if they want to communicate with a good portion of their team. Not all are Americans, but plenty all speak, or understand, English, and speaking English is much easier if you have a Serbian on your team say.

That was an ugly shot Ricky just took in the lane
That’s one of his many flaws: finishing near the rim.

He or Marcus Haislip would be the most interesting international PF free agents imho.

Gran Canaria fells miserably. Freeland best player by far.

Ok, I’m just waking up here. This has been covered. Boxscore for Freeland looks pretty good. Actually it looks really good compared to his team mates, and in 18 min! Bring the boy over for look!
