congrats to the"franchise"b.roy for being named 2.nd team all*nba.what that means people is that b.roy is now officially 1 of the best 10 players on this planet.i don't wannahear no more garbage from the odenfanboys,or the la(aldridge)contingent.roy has arrived blazers fans.i'm crying right now as i'm writing this post.see the big difference between clyde and roy is,clyde doed'nt feel like a true blazer to me anymore.the nba pundints treat him more like a rocket legend.roy is a blazer matter of fact he is the blazers franchise.so for all you blazer fans who like whomever,the party is over over and out.roy is now 1 of the best 10 players in the world.you talk about a meteoric rise to superstardom.see what you people don't seem to realize,it's not easy to crack all nba top 10.he replaces s.nash and believe me he's well deserving.so all you b.roy lovers enjoy this baby.because our boy has finally arrived.and 1 more thing odenfanboys,tell your man that the'franchise"said get your 7'0 butt in the gym.aldridge to start manning8up more.and for rudy*batum to get some type of rest this spring.pryzbilla to keep on training in the gym.the rest of you softies wo really knows,what pricthard has in store for you guys. congradulations again b.roy.nobody does it better than you mr.blazer the'franchise..

I think it’s a lot more reasonable to steal a nickname from someone who didn’t deserve it than from someone who did.

You’re gonna suggest that B-roy steal the nickname “Magic” rather than one from Steve “Expiring Contract” Francis?

That said, I think “The Franchise” is a pretty weak nickname. You can do better, fatty!

Actually, I think the age of the nickname has passed. Brandon’s game is sometimes described as “boring”. So is Tim Duncan’s. Fine with me— and Timmy didn’t need a fancy nickname. Imagine, his last name contains the word “dunk” and he never got a good nickname! Call him Brandon Roy… that ought to do it.

So what you are saying is that if a blazer fan sees LMA and/or Oden as an important part of the team… or believe that they will continue to get better or even be great, that these same fans DON’T like or appreciate BROY? HUH?
I think you let your dislike of certain players get in the way. Do you think Roy would be second team if Durant were here taking 20 + shots a game making 40% of them?
As great as Roy is he needs Oden and Aldridge to for this team to continue down the road to a title. Hope you can admit your were wrong when these two young bigs prove you wrong in the very near future!

…. I think we already know that Brandon Roy is a very special player. The only thing that has changed is that now we know the writers who cover the league think so as well.

And Brandon making 2nd team does nothing to take away from Aldridge, Oden or any other player on this team. If anything, the vote showed that LaMarcus may only be a season or so away from making it on the list. As for Greg, who knows at this stage. He only just completed his rookie season. Who is willing to take bets that he never makes the list? Not me.

Roy’s election means not only more respect for him as a player and for what he’s accomplished (well-deserved respect!), but also gives more legitimacy to the Blazers as a franchise and to their run towards the Championship in the years to come.

And no need to make this wonderful moment confrontational, fatty. I’m glad you’re emotional about this award – I don’t know of one Blazer fan who isn’t. But being a fan of Roy’s doesn’t mean you can’t also appreciate the hard work and improvement of the other Blazers. Brandon would be the first to give praise to his teammates and we would all do well to follow his example.
