Division Champions despite Tiebreaker
Can we still call ourselves division champions even if the 2nd level tiebreaker goes to the Nuggets? Kind of like Co-Pac 10 champions.

You can call yourself anything you want
but only the seeding and homecourt matter.
Personally I think division championships are semi-cheap. They were when there were four divisions. Even more so now that there are six. Other than the advantage in the seeding process I could care less.
Conference championships are another matter. NBA championships…now that’s the ticket.

there's a reason when you open up the standings page on most sites it defaults to conference standings.
that reason is that divisions are completely meaningless as things are currently constructed.
How did you guys win that?
"We scored enough points. We scored 107, they scored 105.

I wouldn't want to see a division banner hanging in the RG.
Beating out 4 other teams just doesn’t seem like that huge of an accomplishment. Maybe if they go back to 4 divisions it’ll be more special.
Hit it. Yes he did. Ohhhh yeah.

Yeah
And having a ceremony and all that, like you know they would do… I mean, it’s cool because we’re so young, but kinda lame to really celebrate for a good team.
I’ll take it, but it’s not as cool as winning the ol’ Pacific Division, even though that was an eventual letdown as well.
Hang that WC banner! And give us 20 more numbers to retire after we win another championship!
