Blazers watch sites
Is there any sort of list of places out-of-town Blazers fans gather to watch the games? I'm way on the other side of the country in D.C. but would love to plunk down in a bar to watch the playoff games with fellow Rip City refugees. Do the congressional staffs watch the games somewhere? Should I just pick a place, post it and hope?
Filler filler filler, filler filler -- filler filler!

in nyc
There’s a small group just getting started in Manhattan. We’ll be getting together for the L*kers game Friday, and sometimes use the list to meet up last-minute for games, too.
If you want info, or to join the group, send an email to nyc-blazers (a) googlegroups (d) c o m

I think you need to get permission first
I think someone had an issue with sending an e-mail without being in the group first.
Going to http://groups.google.com/group/nyc-blazers
first to join worked
Hi Neighbor
I live up in Adams Morgan and watch games all the time at Ventnor Sports on 18th. They are one of the few places I can find with the NBA package. They have heaps of TVs and a few Blazer fans. Never a L@ker fan that I have seen

Hey, thanks
Will try to make it by sometime. Definitely for the playoffs, maybe before.
When the playoffs come, we are liberated from the NBA package
because of the 40 games in 40 nights business on regular cable. If you go to Ventnor just ask for Dave who insists on watching the Blazers and eats bag after bad of free popcorn.I wear hats, too

Sad
I just moved to Jackson Mississippi for 6 months. No Blazer fans here so far. I would love to watch games with someone instead of streaming them online by myself.
