My problem with the Thunder announcers complain about officiating
is that the Thunder just aren’t playing well. They can’t hit a shot tonight… it’s not like they’d be leading with different reffing.

Were you not of the vocal dissenters earlier this season who were skeptical of Aldridge’s ability, to put it simply, ball out of his a$$? Is there a 4 playing better basketball right now? The NBA is insanely hyping Durant, as are some columnists. But he’s basically a scorer right now, and brings nothing else to the court.
There's probably some insecurity involved, plus some frustration.
At least for some folks. Probably not fair to blanket that statement.

on getting someone else going every night. If that doesn’t work then he’ll take over.

Unless he ignores coaches, he should eventually be at least passable defensively. Combine that with inevitable offensive improvements, and he’ll be an outstanding player. (I mean, more than he is now)
But he’s not there now. The potential to get there is high though.

Green is too undersized both in height and weight to adequately guard most power forwards in the NBA. Y’know, it wouldn’t shock me if the Oklahoma City Thunder packaged Green and whatever first-round draft pick it has for the #1 selection in the 2009 NBA Draft — so long as the franchise doesn’t win the lottery, of course — and, in turn, nab Oklahoma standout Blake Griffin. An example of that would be Earl Watson, Green, and the #5 pick to the Sacramento Kings for Kenny Thomas and the #1 pick.
