Standing ovation tonight! Win or Lose!

For those of you who will be at the Rose Garden tonight, let's not forget to applaud our young guys for all that they have accomplished this season.  They have no doubt exceeded our most optimistic regular season expectations with 54 WINS!!!  I am beyond proud of these guys, and I am giddy to see what they will accomplish over the next several years.

So, win or lose, let's not forget to thank them for the great season.

Join me in a standing ovation at the final buzzer.

Go Blazers!!

Note: This thread will be relevant for Game 7 too!!

Standing Ovation would be

100 times better than chanting “these refs suck” or “Houston sucks”. After listening to the fans in LA chanting "Utah

sucks" I probably just need to accept that today’s fan behavior is fairly lowbrow. Maybe this has been the case for

awhile though and I haven’t paid attention…

don't blame the refs!

I disagree

"these refs suck"-They did

Generally speaking

However ….in the case the refs were bad enough, early enough, to color all that followed

Agreed.

And may I say you are well tailored my friend. Not gay. Just speaking the trutch ;).

I meant truth. I don’t even know what “trutch” means. And neither does Webster….http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/trutch

Hey man,

say what you will about the refs. But this is a good team we’re playing against. They deserve our respect if they beat us. Who’d want to lose to a team you have no respect for?

Well said sir

I believe in Greg Oden. To all the haters - get down with the program or stay off the wagon for all time. #52

RIP CIH TEE chant when it’s all over.

Amen, brother!

Win or lose, these guys have played great this season and represented the city well!

Go Blazers!

by Hawthorne Wingo on Apr 28, 2009 3:39 PM PDT reply actions

Agreed

Don’t let an early exit (I didn’t say that, it was just imagination) blind us to the fact that this team is the second youngest, and just had a great season, making the playoffs, and is far ahead of their scheduled peak. No bad police incidents. Some incredible runs, great wins….

That’s worth standing for!

Agree.

I was just thinking how nervous I am tonight, and how I know that in a week I will be longing/wishing I had back the nights like tonight (a game night). I sure hope this isn’t their final game. But I love them just as much if it is.

My favorite teams are the Blazers and any team that is playing the Lakers.

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.
