So why doesn't Nate get it for yanking Rudy?
Dude was like 6 for 5. Hell, he was making threes he didn’t even shoot. But they don’t count those when you are riding the bench.

how does someone go 6 for 5? i’ve heard people say Rudy “can do the impossible”, i guess they were right.

Oh Well
At least they finally figured out that he’s not Bo Outlaw.

...
honestly if Outlaw doesn’t turn around his performance then I have no problem trading him because with this kind of performance we will never win a championship

I love the strategy given by Hollinger
It seems simple enough changes could change the series for Portland in a hurry.

I liked Outlaw's D.
His jumpers that weren’t falling were just a symptom of the lazy jumper attitude that overwhelmed our team.
Oh, and fatty (I’m sure he won’t read this but), there are now three ballers on the Blazers. Roy and Rudy you accept. But the new one is Oden. Granted I don’t get exactly what you mean by ballers, but in my mind he is sure earning it. He is one of the few Blazers that can be rough and will fight to win. Yeah, his skills need cleanup, but he is for real.

jump shooting team
At the beginning of the year Travis took and missed at least 2 horrible, contested, early in the shot clock, fading away, 20+ footers every game. It drove me nuts. Later in the year, he learned that if he dribbled in to 16 feet and took the same (bad) shot, he could make it pretty consistently. I could live with that because he made them.
It’s become obvious that in the playoffs, when the season is wearing on you, the pressure is on and the intensity and physicality of the game are higher, those jump shots just don’t go in enough. Same could be said for Aldridge.
These guys need to attack the hoop and pound it inside. Portland’s biggest flaw has been exposed: With few exceptions, we are a ‘contested mid-range jump shooting team’. You aren’t going to win playoff games that way.
