Terry is the 6th Man of the Year; Outlaw finishes 5th
No votes for Rudy, who I suspect many Blazer fans consider the team's best reserve on the season.

Hollinger pointed out on ESPN
the other day, the comedy that ensues when these awards come out. Look at the bottome of the list, someone actually voted for the following:
Hakeem Warrick, 2nd best off the bench in the NBA?
Jason Kapono, 2nd best off the bench in the NBA?
Those are just the two most amazing to me. I guess opinions are like , everyones got one!

Warrick has a pretty good season actually
not 2nd best off the bench, but not nearly as ridiculous as Kapono.

Outlaw getting a first place vote was pretty amazing to me
I mean, you can make a strong argument that he isn’t even the best bench player on the Blazers.

in fact, I'd argue that as of this moment, he's the Blazers 3rd best reserve after Oden and Rudy.

IIRC...
Ric Bucher was the guy that voted for Outlaw for sixth man. He mentioned it when he was on Courtside awhile back.

TO was going to rank higher
Because dude hit SIX game-winning shots this year. Rudy didn’t, although he was at least as important…

That list looks fair, with Ginobili maybe getting a bit of a "we are used to him being great" bonus
That stop and go by Roy is straight sick. I'm calling him "The Flu" from now on. - Wendell Maxey

list is fine
though I’d like to see them change the criteria. Let’s face it – Manu and Terry are both bench players in name only. they play starter’s minutes and are clearly have a much bigger role on their team than the actual “starters”.
Rather than starting or non – starting, it could be based on minutes per game. I can think of two different ways to do this:
1) a MPG cap, somewhere in the 24 to 28 minutes per game. If you are getting more than that, you are likely playing more than one or more guys who actually “start”
2) rather than a hard cap, simply say that in order to be eligible, you have to average less MPG than 5 other people on your team.
How did you guys win that?
"We scored enough points. We scored 107, they scored 105.
