the rose garden fans

on saturday night i was in philly rewarding my nephew for getting great grades in school.so i took him to a tna wrestling show.while i was in philly i saw game 1 on espn.and let me tell you guys something, espn did you great people of pdx at the r.garden no justice on saturday night.that said i saw the game on the blazers feed last night on nba.tv.and damn was the r.garden crowd electric.i have'nt seen a pdx crowd that electric since game 3 of the 1990 nba finals vs detroit.when i was growing up the 1 thing i respected about pdx was the crowd.they would line up in the rain to wacth blazers games on closed circuit tv.to you young people that would be ppv in a movie house today.you guys showed america why you guys are the best and most knowledgeable fans in all of professional sports period.there was a electricity that i really love in true sports cities.and pdx is seriously has always been 1 of those cities.all of you people in attendance deserve a standing ovation.the heat you guys gave to j.crawford and the inept officiating crew was priceless.and no matter what happens from here on out,you great people are the main reason why i love this franchise.and most importantly i truely love oyu and your fine city.it's always been my favorite city in america to visit, and i love all the fine people and culture pdx always have to ofeer.so this alute is to you the fans as saying"god bless you"and continue your great support of the greatest team and fams of all of pro sports the portland trailblazers book it !!!!!!!

Thanks Fatty.

It was quite electric there.

my ears hurt at the end of that game.

Loved how the defense chant started at the first Rockets possession and got going again each and every possession. Loved the Let’s Go Blazers chant drowning out Mark Mason during the Rockets player introductions. The crowd was in fine form. I have half season tickets but this might be the first time I actually felt like the crowd truly impacted the game. The energy from the fans was amazing and I can’t imagine the players didn’t feed off of it. Great great performance.

i was a little hoarse when i got home.

i’m not really a screamer. but i put in my fair share during the defense chants and some hoops and hollars.

You could tell on TV the place was rocking

And the fans did a great job of keeping the energy up all game long

it's an emotional fan base

that’s why dorks like Canzano have no understanding of what’s going on. he says it was embarrassing or something. Really? Because we care?

People in the Rose Garden are yelling as loud as they can because they are practically living and dying with the team. I know I was in a bad mood for a couple days after game 1, and I’m betting the whole city was too.

If Clownzano doesn’t like it, he can go to Europe and watch some soccer. American fans, and perhaps basketball in particular, have to be some of the tamest around.

props for recognizing, fatty.

And trust me

If that had happened in Philly or Detroit the word “Suck” in the “These refs suck” chant would have been replaced by something FAR more vulgar…

Kind of why I didn't comment...

I was waiting for him to respond to the responses. But I don’t think fatty tends to the sarcastic side of things. He says what he means and he means what he says. Book it!!

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.
