Negative example, I know, but worth noting for perspective
I seem to remember a certain Western Conference Finals in which the team with the homecourt advantage lost it early on by getting drubbed by nearly 30 points. Said team came back to (barely, and painfully for us) win the series.
Apples and oranges? Perhaps. But it's an example of how a horrible home loss does not necessarily spell doom.

Stealing Game 1 on the road happens alot in every sport
the question is, what will we do tomorrow
Momma.....der go dat man
This, however, was game two. LA took game one 109-94.
The main point is that we took away (albeit temporarily) their home court advantage. And John “The Spider” Salley logged 3 minutes and didn’t record a single stat. Mind-boggling defence on “The Spider”.
this has been a message from: "The People's Alliance to give Greg Oden at Least a Couple of Seasons"
During that summer, I wanted to backhand slap two guys, Vin Baker and Paul Westphal, upside the head.
I’d’ve enjoyed whacking Karl Malone and John Stockton, too, but the Portland Trail Blazers took care of that in the Western Conference Semifinals that season.
