Killer Kevin Love ROY video

So the Twolves but this video out there (http://www.nba.com/timberwolves/news/love_roty_2009.html)

and all I can think is...

BLAZERS - ROOKIE COUNT 4

BLAZERS - ROY VIDEOS COUNT 0

It'd be one thing if the Blazers were known for a bum marketing team, but this is the team that brought us the customized iPods & Navigation systems for the All-Star voting.

C'mon Blazers Marketing Team, (from someone who works in marketing & was recently laid off)

WHERE IS THE LOVE??

oops, that wasn't supposed to be a question.

I loved the navigation system and would kill to have one. And i certainly wouldn’t give it away to my babysitter.

It's not just a video, it's a whole product promotion site for "Mr. Love the glass cleaner".

And even though it won’t help him win ROY, it’s a brilliant marketing effort to get the organization and him some attention by fans and media.

I love the “fine print” product label. Effective on: Offensive glass, defensive glass, iron, bricks, rims, airballs, …

pretty funny site

Like the “try it free” part also.

How dare they ignore Oden's existence!

Greg Oden is the best offensive rebounder in the NBA, not Kevin Love.

Oden ORB% : 16.1%
Love ORB% : 15.0%

This slight should not go unpunished.

It won't.

There’s no chance Love will get the ROY.

I'm guessing....

The Blazer rookies we know and love are focusing on how they can help their team get to the play-offs, not an award they have no chance of winning.

Rookie of the year

Is for future All Stars. Oden could be someday, but as of now he’s spent too much time in street clothes, and in foul trouble.

Rudy and Batum are GREAT young players. And their upside comes in terms of TEAM production. The Rookie of the Year is about INDIVIDUAL achievements. My vote is 100% Rose. He was my #1 choice if the Blazers could have taken any player in the draft. He’s a stone cold baller, like B-Roy. He will be an All Star, and if we ever have chance to trade for him, pull the trigger. Period.

The wolves wasted their money. Plain and simple.

Blazers Prophecy.
3-5 championships in next decade.

No the ROY award if for the best Rookie

Kevin Love didn't even make the Rookie game.

Not a chance for Rookie of th Year. And he is a huge douche.

Wow you guys are being idiots on this issue

I like to think that Blazer fans are knowledgable on most issues but all I see is homer responses. Yeah the guy went to Lake O, yeah he is big tall and white, yeah he is banging hotter girls than you but leave the hate aside and take off the Blazer glasses for a second. The dude is grabbing 9 boards and averaging 11.2 points while playing along side Al Jefferson. Those numbers are pretty comprable to Brook Lopez’s numbers. Sure center is a harder position to fill than PF but you can’t deny that Love has had a good year. He has easily been top 5 this year and if you are top 5 you deserve consideration. The best rookie on the Blazers this year is Batum… and the media has no respect for defense so that is why no Blazers are in consideration. So K Love was a jerk to you or you heard a few bad stories… that doesn’t really factor into the ROY debate because he has been a professional while in the league. Just saying. I get so tired of people saying how bad K Love, Boozer, or Ron Artest is when in actuality they just don;t like the guy.

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.
