Time for the weekly podcast starring Gavin Dawson of 95.5 The Game and Casey Holdahl of the Center Court Blog, including me somewhere in there.

This week we talks schedules and wins, mixed-up tiebreakers, who's responsible for the amazing play we're seeing lately, winning (or losing) on the road, what time it is in on the Blazer development clock, whether any moves need to be made on this team before Brandon turns 40, the difference between Batum and Outlaw on defense, Joel Przybilla not liking leather in the grill, and a bunch of other stuff.

Thank the SBN tech guys for the nifty format

And thank the SBN brass for partnering with the AP.

Really, things like this are due to you guys too. Your readership and participation give us the clout to turn to people like Yahoo or the AP and say, “You can benefit from partnering with us.” These are real, tangible ways in which you make the site better just by being here and keeping the quality high.

There are more things in the works. We’re not done yet.

I'm excited for the future

the format has changed so much in the last year… in a good way. I love the auto updating comments, fanpost structure..

can we get a new fanshot interface? It’s so clumsy.

This partnership seems pretty decent for both parties

You get high quality pictures, they stay relevant in the blogosphere.

I had a talk with my wife

I told her it won’t happen but if for some crazy reason the Blazers go to the Finals, then we would have to fly in for at least one game. She’s cool with it. I’m pretty sure credit card debt is a good thing in a recession.

That was a swell podcast. I honestly laughed out loud while walking my dog. They keep getting better.

I have thought that guys have really toughened up this season…Joel especially. That being said….I wouldn’t be adverse to Shav coming into the game at some point and clothslining Trevor Ariza

Haven't seen it for a couple years,

but remember when Joel would get tangled up with a guy under the hoop, then remain that way for like a three-mississippi count longer than the other guy was comfortable with. That player would then start freaking out for Joel to get off him, followed by Joel putting his hands up like, I’m not doing anything.

I always thought that was funny. Get under their skin a little bit.

When Sergio is on the court, BRoy just stands still. It’s his own fault he’s not getting the ball.

ODEN IS WAAAAAY MORE MOBILE THEN SHAQ!!!!

When Shaq decided to play into Nash, Nash made him look really good, and young. Gregs allready young, and more athletic, Greg would instantly become a better scorer with Nash in the line up.

If some how we could keep Sergio, Nash would help him.

Nash has a well reported work ethic and fits Portland culture perfectly. ON A YOUNG IMPRESSIONABLE TEAM, THIS IS VALUABLE!!!! Absorbing Steves essence into our locker room culture will yield benefits for years and years to come.

At least if the decision is between Steve Nash and Jason Kidd. Nash is a better shooter, and even if we wouldn’t be able to utilize Nash to his full potential, I think he’d be a better upgrade over Blake than Kidd.

No way on Kidd

Kidd would have made sense with the Jailblazers – he would have fit in with his troubles with the law, but also would have helped make those guys more cohesive. However, the Jailblazers days are over and we don’t want Kidd and his issues.
