Around SBN: Iron Bowl Thoughts... Right Now

The "These Refs Suck" moment. It got super loud during the game and made me laugh. Not to say that the refs made us lose... we just sucked big time last night.

Video is still processing HD version but you don't really need to see the HD version to understand.

Ahh yes

It was clearly the refs who caused Yao to go like 30 for 30 from the floor, and turned Aaron Brooks into Isiah Thomas.

Everybody always says that

But how can you even judge that? We probably boo just as much as anyone else.

Travis Outlaw fan from the beginning.

Houston played great, We played terrible, and the refs absolutely sucked

The NBA has the worst officiating in professional sports. The NFL used to have really poor officiating as well and then they got a competent commissioner and since then there has been a huge difference in the NFL.

I know we would have lost the game regardless of the officiating but it doesn’t make incompetent officiating ok. We say it wasn’t the officiating because we don’t want to sound like whiners but what basketball fans really need to do is stand up and demand better officiating, and transparency in how refs are penalized.

Stern sucks

There won't be clean officiating in the NBA until David Stern is forcibly removed by the US Congress in 2013 for fixing games.

I don't think anyone on this thread said the refs caused a 30 point blowout
