Check out ESPN's poll

ESPN has a poll on the Rockets/Blazers playoff page. The results are broken down by region. Apparently Oregon has more faith in it's team than Texas does in theirs. It's really surprising with all the talk of Portlands lack of experience by the nations commentators that the country is so "Blue". But I would think that Texas would have more support for it's own teams.  Where's the fan loyalty?

the 20%...

is probably Dallas and San Antonio fans.

But I like to be here. Oh, I like it a lot! Said the Cat in the Hat. To the fish in the pot.

I think they're both OK on this one

Because the 20% is the article, so saying “That 20% is (this)” is fine.

I know less than half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

yep, surprised it isn't higher for the Blazers

Although Houston is the biggest city in Texas.

I'm thinking that Texas has fewer people who have internet connections. Or computers... Or the knowledge that either exist...

this poll means nearly the whole country thinks portland wins?

I guess I am surprised, because nobody hears about the Blazers in the media…

It's spelled "PRZYBILLA."

at the bottom of each state it shows how many have voted

Texas really does suck.

I hope to see some “MESS WITH TEXAS” signs at the RG…

Been said but worth repeating

It’s because almost everyone in Oregon roots for Portland. A lot of Texas roots for Spurs/Mavericks, so they can’t bring themselves to vote Houston.

I’m still more surprised by the hate we get from Massachusettes. Dumb Celtics.

Oh, and look at the totals. 4900 to 5300, despite their state having, what, 5x the population?

I'm here in TX

as far as basketball is concerned, TX is really 3 states. One for each team. And they all hate each other like we hate the jazz.

Blazer's fan since '84, Spurs fan when they are not playing Portland.

I'll say, can you imagine if Obama carried the election like that?

It would have been one of (if not the) greatest landsides ever!

Considering the state of the Republican party (Steele, Jindal, etc)

And Obama’s seemingly endless number of proposals tackling every problem swept under the rug these past 8 years, 2012 could be a massive landslide. Of course this all rests on Obama’s economic recovery plan,

Maybe

but conservative media is strong and people are stupid.

The goal is not to be better, the goal is to be the best.

This is maybe one of the funnies things I’ve read all day.

How about the raw numbers...

5k votes from the rest of the country.
5k votes from Oregon.

Nice work BE. We all know its in us.
