This Week's Podcast

Here's your link to this week's podcast mp3.

You can also stream it at Casey's site: the Center Court Blog.

This week's episode features Dave and Casey.

Listen to it or the Blazers lose in the first round.

As an added bonus, Casey passed along this picture of Rudy's super-sweet super-euro kicks.  Incredible work, Mr. Fernandez. Incredible.

LA Gear

I believe I had a pair just like those in 1984

We went like this, he went like that. I say to Hollywood: Where'd he go? Hollywood says: where'd who go?

I thought I had the matching shorts in 1984. Listening to Van Halen and waitin’ for 7th grade.

so Euro chic is 80's USA?

Those patterns look like my dad’s old windbreaker.

"Ooo la la! The Blazers are le chic, no?"

I was wondering why Rudy played so well last night

turns out he (and all the Blazers) get a small bonus for being division co-champs.

The rookie pay scale just doesn’t make sense for 23 year olds who have been playing professional basketball at a high level. Give the man a raise!

I want to go to there

Attentin Trailblazer Fans!!

The Blazers are close to taking the entire map (minus Texas of course) in ESPN’s sports nation poll on who will this series.

We are close in states Arkansas, Alabama, West Virginia and Maryland.

Lets get on the horn and let everyone we know in these states to go online and vote for our Trailblazers.

Together we can turn the county in our favor!

Go Blazers!!!!!

looks like a variation on the old Agassi shoes from about 91 or so

by 8volumesthick on Apr 16, 2009 7:17 PM PDT reply actions

What?

Those are shoes a ten year old girl would wear! Can’t believe an adult would consider inserting their feet into them. Where is this leading? Next will be pink flowery stuff. Ugh, ugh, ugh!! Now those Kevin Durant (?) shoes featured the other day (they might not have been KD’s but who ever they belonged to, Ben loved them), well those were 3 thumbs to me (3 thumbs up is kind of like 110%).

Brandon Roy just destroyed everything in his path. There's your rational analysis -- Dave

Those shoes are pure Americana Ben!

They are called the Nike Air Tech Challenge Hybrid , and are a new ‘retro’ release that combines elements from a few different shoes that Agassi wore in the mid-90s. And yes, Rudy is a pimp for rocking them.

Rudy seems to understand the first rule of being a sneaker pimp: you either go subtle and smooth, or you go all the way.
