Man so much to say about this guy, great player, great person, great Blazer. He reminds me of Rasheed Wallace minus the douchebag, by that i mean he has so much talent he can literally do anything on the court if he puts his mind to it. Rasheed would and still does just arbitrarily decide to play to his max potential. LMA is learning the game and can only turn it up when he feels comfortable and confident.....these are tough things to have when your a rookie or a 2nd year player or even sometimes a 3rd year player. This is what we have seen IMO, he wasn't much of a factor for us his rookie year. His second year he was solid and learning. His third year he continued that learning and then about a month ago freaking turned it up several notches.
Mark my words Blazer Nation.....once G.O. becomes that beast we all know he can LMA will compliment G.O. perfectly with his inside/outside game, Book it. I posted something in a get well Mo Lucas fan shot recently that stated my personal top 3 all time Blazer PFs were #1Mo Lucas, #1a Buck Williams, #3 Brian Grant, a very close #4 is absolutely LMA. Someone(i cant remeber who, im sorry)asked what about Rasheed Wallace? A valid question, but Rasheed probly cost us just as many if not more games than he helped us win with all of his Technical fouls and (as i said previously)he and only he decides when to play hard. LMA will never do what Rasheed did on a regular basis to our team which is sabotage it.
The Draft year when we picked up Roy and LMA is turning out to be the best draft year we have ever had. Roy : bonafide superstar, LMA: nearly an all-star, Sergio: a decent back up PG. Certainly not chopped liver. We are very lucky to have him as our PF for the next 8-10 years.
Thank you LaMarcus for everything, Good luck in the playoffs!!!
