AND… It is impossible to clap to.
This is what I go through each time it’s played…

Everyone (including me) then proceeds to start clapping…
I see rain… hear thunder… booms… a choir sing… but there is no beat to clap to.
Darn… I guess I’ll just stop clapping…
But what am I to do with my hands now? Do I cross them? Put them in my pockets?
Where’s my coke? Oh… down there… argh… not enough room to bend down.
I’ve seen this video 30 times this season alone, and now I’m standing here trying to figure out what to do with my hands since I can’t possibly clap to this video. Oh good, it’s over.

I like the guns n roses one starting off, but then the fans in it don’t seem too excited about the game. maybe if they had bedgers saying “come on portland!” I would get into it, but they’re buzz kills.
Storm Large? really?
the 300 thing is too over the top, and like sagebrush said, you can’t clap to it.
We need to come up with something a lot better for next year.

but I think for the last game of the season they should play the old Bust A Bucket rap in tribute of Duck since its the last game of the season

it makes our players look silly, plus i’ve seen that they play the same theme videos in other arenas, AND it has no highlights from the actual game. I hate it.

My vote is for #4, it is unique and very portland-esque, and it actually has a ton of sweet highlights that get me pumped for the game.

There are some nice highlights and it is one of my favorite songs. Plus I always seem to miss it cause I am in the hallway running late.

I would have voted number 3 if they would update it with highlights. I have seen it a ton so I am a little bored with it. Thought, it totally gives me chills.

I like number 5, too, but it also should be updated with new people and highlights. I love the city sights.

Either way, I am so happy for this team that I may cry during the intro (oh the girl in me!).

They’ve played it for all of the big games in the last month or so, and the Blazers have won every time. I’m not very superstitious, but ….

Because moving basketballs slowly in front of your face is the most intense thing EVER.

Aldridge, and Roy were the only two who could really pull of the hard look naturally. That’s not to say that they’re ghetto hard, but they have that thousand yard stare that comes from confidence and seeing “it” before. Funny enough, is that I thought Sergio pulled it off well, and Bayless fit nice two, as did Oden. Outlaws primal scream is beautiful.

I voted for #3 it is the best.

I would rate them in the following Order

3,4,1,5,2

1. wins. I would be even more distraught, but at least #3 held back #5. That those are the top two is a testament to just how much people’s tastes differ from my own when it comes to this stuff. #5 is an abomination.

My problem is that, as #3 includes zero basketball footage, all of the emotions and gestures, are literally fake and staged. At least in #4 we get to see real basketball plays with authentic on court emotions and greatness. This team doesn’t need to pose to come off as a tough groups of guys who will smash you, and having having them pose as such just makes them look ridiculous.

Sigh. I am a sore loser, it’s true.
