Around SBN: Knicks Beat Lakers With Familiar Strategy

If you had to choose just one.

As we are all still enjoying the high after a win against the L@kers last night and now a win against the red headed stepchild of L.A. with the Clippers, something came to mind.

If you had to choose just one player, coach, entity in the NBA to boo. Who would it be?

We all have our lists of players out there, but who embodies your ideal evil? K0be? Z-Bo? Artest? D-Miles? Blaze? Odom?

As for me? I have to point to the picture here... Thank you S.T. This is one of the best things I have laid my eyes on in a long time. You wonder why K0be was so animated with his interview after the game? I would be too if I have that all up in my... well. Yeah. That woman is my hero of the week.

So, my vote goes to K0be. I shouldnt have to explain why. There is a lot. I will just say, I think K0be needs to spend the night with Handbanana, they would have a lot to talk about.

Oh, and Phil... Mr. Jackson... Mr "Zen Master" as you like to be called... we all know that plantar fasciitis is just a poor Chinese translation attempt for what we all call Pussy Foot. Man up Phil! Man up!

Rip City. The playoffs are going to be insane!

Booing a player like Kobe usually has either no effect, or the opposite effect you’re hoping for.

Hard to get down to "one". As an "entity" the refs from the 2006 NBA finals, especially game 3 and also 4

Awarding all those bogus free throws and foul calls to Dwyane Wade and the rest of the Heat. Man I hated that and booed my TV in despair :) By extension it has made me dislike Wade much more than he deserves, who is otherwise a nice player I should enjoy more watching. You are on my short list of every upcoming discovery about bought games:

Game 1: Joe Crawford, Joe DeRosa, Bennett Salvatore
Game 2: Bob Delaney, Steve Javie, Eddie F. Rush
Game 3: Dan Crawford, Ken Mauer, Jack Nies
Game 4: Dick Bavetta, Mike Callahan, Bernie Fryer. Flagrant foul of Stackhouse on Shaq who throws himself into the photographers. As if.
Game 5: Joe Crawford, Joe DeRosa, Bennett Salvatore
Game 6: Dan Crawford, Steve Javie, Eddie F. Rush

Current player: Stephon Marbury embodies pretty much everything that is wrong with star athletes to me, except that on the court he is not an unfair player or a player who has beaten my teams in big games so that aspect of hate is completely missing. So all in all I don’t think I have utter hate for a current player causing me to constantly boo him.

Current executive: I would boo Clay Bennett

Historically: Rick Fox for being so smug

Greg Oden = Robert Parish (HOF, 4x NBA champion, 9x NBA All-Star). The only other rookie with more than 500 points, 400 rebounds, and 65 blocks in under 1400 minutes played. Since 1946.

hmm

Coach: Larry Brown. That guy just really pisses me off. I will never forgive him for what he did to the Olympic team.

Exec: Clay Bennett. Duh.

Player: This one is really tough. I think I have to go with Kobe, too, because he’s the only player that simultaneously invokes strong reactions of both fear and hatred in me as a fan since Jordan did in the early ’90s.

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.

OK, that should just about wrap up the goaltending discussion.
