I agree that the Blazers got more questionable calls this game… but I wouldn’t go so far as to say they decided the game. And shouldn’t we be entitled to a few going in our favor by this point? It’s just the way the game goes Kobe.

Just because his team didn’t get the benefit of every flippin call like every other game he gets all bent out of shape (except for that one foul on Batum…was that a classic Kobe call or what?!). Since he is so sure he wants to play us in the playoffs I think I’ll say I do too. That just means he’s going to try and do everything himself. And let’s be real, we all know that’s never a good thing for the L*kers when that happens.

To bask in the glow of a L*ker defeat and a Blazer win a little more, I came to a realization. It’s things like this that makes me appreciate Brandon Roy and the rest of the team for the class and respect they show after every game, win or lose. This is proof that not all fanbases can say the same about their beloved superstar.

This is my dream. And this is K*be’s nightmare. The Blazers haunt his gaunt and stilted soul. He knows, looking into Brandon’s eyes as he misses yet another shot, that we are his huckleberry, K*be’s final, relentless and everlasting end.

Like I said above, I’ve seen worse on Blazers Edge after a Blazers loss. Scratch that, I’ve seen worse on Blazers Edge after a missed shot when the Blazers are ahead.

Of course he is not going to be happy about losing in Portland again. And he can’t say he doesn’t want to play the Blazers in the playoffs. His fans would kill him (not literally) for saying something like that.

But I do hate to break it to him: the real cause of the loss was him freaking out and flinging a quick contested brick 3 that PDX sucked up — and then the Lakers freaking out and fouling when they didn’t have to, no doubt panicked by Kobe’s bizarre clanker…

I dont think the staples center would ever be that rocking. I was next door @ the convention center last night for the beer and whine fest, and you could almost here the Rose Garden’s roof bout to blow off. Bring on Kobe and the L@lakers. BRING IT ON!!!!

You can’t blame the refs about call disparity if you settled for contested jump shots. Of course blazers got calls they were driving to the hoop.
