His eyes are huge haha
But on a more serious note, really Kobe? You lost cause you didn’t get calls? Your 9-24 had nothing to do with it? The Blazers went to the line because they were simply more agressive…
Also how unconvincing did his “we want them” sound? I know his competitive spirit wouldn’t let him admit it, but I don’t think anyone WANTS Portland in the post-season as of this moment

Seriously, you guys have got to get a hold of yourselves. You had a nice win, Congrats! You are a cute little team and everything but there is no need to go into full celebration mode, especially if you are a team that is alledgedly important and not just a bunch of amateurs. Any time you want to take a look into the trophy case in L.A. and your looking for some action, just let us know! In the meantime just enjoy your cute little win with your ONE championship that happened 32 years ago and your pacific division banners with a sprinkling of conference championship banners and your way too many retired jerseys. Enjoy, you have earned them!!

The past is in the past so stop using that as an excuse for why the L*kers lost. That’s always the fall back-“Enjoy your one championship…blah blah blah.” You’re just too sad to admit that Portland is damn scary and you’re reign as the top team in the West is coming to a close.

all of the wins have been nice. face it, the L*kers can’t win in the Rose Garden. It’s not one win we’re celebrating, it’s 8 home wins in a row against a team with the best record in the west.

God, I hate that guy.
Just because his team didn’t get the benefit of every flippin call like every other game he gets all bent out of shape (except for that one foul on Batum…was that a classic Kobe call or what?!). Since he is so sure he wants to play us in the playoffs I think I’ll say I do too. That just means he’s going to try and do everything himself. And let’s be real, we all know that’s never a good thing for the L*kers when that happens.

Let talk about "tells"
A tell is an inadvertent motion, or twitch if you will, that a person expresses when they lie. The mouth says one thing but the body language tells a different story. You notice test subject number 24, “Kobe”, when asked if he wants Portland in the post season immediately shakes his head before mumbling “I’d love it”. What we are seeing here is an honest unmasked expression of fear. Subject 24 will be tranquilized and carted back to Hollywood for further examinations.

We own his black soul now
he just doesn’t know it yet. That’s the hatred I want to see, and it’s really the first time I’ve seen that reaction from him. The mask cracked a little.
It’s really still David vs Goliath at this point, but with this year’s season series draw, it’s almost as if Goliath lost this battle. Now his only chance is to meet us in the playoffs and beat us mano a mano, because he’s failed twice and he wants to put this one behind him. There’s only a 1/10 or 1/15 chance of this happening, but if we want to really earn that hatred and make this a rivalry, we need to beat these guys in the playoffs, destroy their championship dreams.

Fans reactions
are different than players reactions. Fans or fanatics are fanatical, anything can and will come out of their mouth, (or keyboard as the case may be) about their team or the team their team is facing.
But players are held to a higher standard. Nothing Kobe said was bad, “sure blame the officals” is what fans do, but players rarely go there, and Kobe has the least room to talk because of all the phantom calls he already gets, (just ask Batum). The lost this game in the final few minutes, where Kobe airballed two 3’s and turned the ball over because he got caught in the air under the basket.
Ofcourse a player would never say, " I don’t want to face “x” team they are scary!", and most players are very competitive, so you know this losing streak in PDX eats at him. I have no doubt he wants the Blazers in the playoffs just so he can show his dominance over them. Hopefully we get to see that, as it would mean the Blazers won at least 1 playoff round, and maybe even 2. Plus playing the Lakers in the postseason this year, would give very valueable experience to a team in need of it.
Go Blazers!

Kobe is a warrior... Gotta love his attitude.
But I do hate to break it to him: the real cause of the loss was him freaking out and flinging a quick contested brick 3 that PDX sucked up — and then the Lakers freaking out and fouling when they didn’t have to, no doubt panicked by Kobe’s bizarre clanker…
