Around SBN: Explaining Jeremy Lin's Early, Surprising Success

A Rule Clarification

This is from a truehoop post last fall.

But all I can think about is: Teams aren't allowed to play games at home on consecutive nights?

The Clippers had a home game tonight, and we will play them tomorrow at home. How are they allowed to bypass this rule? Can we complain to the league? I want justice.

PS How sweet does tonights victory feel?

PPS And I know we will win tomorrow, but I still want justice.

It's not a "rule",

just a really strong consideration.

The idea is to not burden fans with season tickets that might not want to go to games on multiple nights in a row, but I guess they figure not many people show to Clippers games anyway. rimshot

My little brother goes to school down there

and was able to get courtside seats to tomorrow’s game for $120. Courtside, like Jack and Sandler and I’m pissed.

Where from? Stubhub?

Next time I’m down there I’ll be looking for last minute tickets.

It happens from time to time due to scheduling issues. Staples Center is a good candidate, since it is shared by three teams

And this year they had the ice skating world championships

Greg Oden = Robert Parish (HOF, 4x NBA champion, 9x NBA All-Star). The only other rookie with more than 500 points, 400 rebounds, and 66 blocks in under 1400 minutes played. Since 1946.

lol...

I wonder what the price diffrence is between “just go their butts handed to em” L*kers, and “the soon to have their butts ripped off and handed to them” clippers in the staple are?

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.
