Season ticket holders are rewarded
20% increase, but hey you get first dibs on 4 additional seats during the playoffs.
Your info is correct. Season ticket holders have first right of refusal basically 4/13 and the rest of the fans get to go crazy on 4/16.

Anyone want some of my 4 extra?
We’re using our two tickets for every game, of course, but we weren’t planning on buying any extras. If someone on here wants me to grab them some, reply with your email address and I’ll do my best to hook it up. No mark-up, you just pay cost—doing what i can to get some extra Bedgers into the games and the tickets out of scalpers’ hands.

Same here
I’m giving friends a heads up then if they pass I’ll have four tickets I’ll purchase and resell for a small profit (much less than my current tickets are on sale for, but I also doubt seats like that will be available). I, unfortunately, haven’t fully recovered my investment into the tickets and I’m still trying to fund next years season tickets so I don’t have to down grade.

I thought it was a little more than that, but I can’t find the info with my ticket stuff. That’s helpful! I actually may lower my asking price on my three seats because I thought i was being charged more.

Season ticket holder prices
I wonder what face value will be. I think my cost is like 95-100 for a $145 face value seat. That’s gone up to $110 for round 1. Safe to say PA is a very very very happy man right now.
How much revenue does two home play off games bring?
by keepfryealive on Apr 10, 2009 9:20 AM PDT up reply actions 0 recs
Resale
on my regular season tickets were $120. I believe the cost was supposed to be $85.
As the first round are still $85, then I’d imagine first round for the same seat will still be the $120 price.
Good question though. The blazers might raise that price.
Don’t quote me on actual ticket pricing though, i obviously haven’t been paying a whole lot of attention because it’s been more of a “here’s a huge glob of money you have to pay every month” and a bank account that cries itself to sleep as I don’t receive any of the money for tickets i sell until the END of the season. I didn’t realize that when I first signed up. Kinda hurt the wallet.

If I wanted to buy tickets from a season ticket holder
would I have to buy all 16?
by usmcr3049 on Apr 10, 2009 9:22 AM PDT reply actions 0 recs
not sure exactly what you're asking
The season ticket holders had a number of options, but the deadline for those options, i believe, has passed.
The options were:
renew season tickets and pay for each round as we go (pay for all four games I believe regardless of homecourt or length of series. It’s up front).
Don’t renew, but pay for ENTIRE play-off round (all 16 tickets) upfront.
Overages are paid back at some later date after the season is over.
So, the deal would be between you guys, but those were season ticket holder options which, i believe, had to be decided in march and are no longer available. Again, correct me if i’m wrong on this but that was my understanding.
The goal is not to be better, the goal is to be the best.
by ratbastird on Apr 10, 2009 9:36 AM PDT up reply actions 0 recs
What I am asking
is if I wanted to buy playoff tickets from SergioFTW, because he can get upto 4 extras, does SergioFTW, inorder to buy those 4 more tickets, have to buy all 16 games worth, or can he buy just a single game of 4 extra tickets if he wanted. So for example, if I wanted 4 tickets to the first playoff game, can he, (sergioFTW) purchase just 4 tickets?
by usmcr3049 on Apr 10, 2009 9:57 AM PDT up reply actions 0 recs
i can buy whatever i want, up to 4 per game
and then it’s up to me to distribute them however i’d like.

My understanding
Is that I get my seats (or comparable) when I said I wanted playoff tickets when I renewed. I already received confirmation on those and will be getting those shortly (I selected the option to have them UPS-ed to me since I didn’t want to wait in line at the game tonight).
Then I got the email last week saying that I could purchase up to 4 tickets starting 4/13 at noon and I believe, although am not 100% certain, that I can buy those in addition to my seats that I have already secured. Just like in the regular season when you can pick up extra games in addition to your season seats before they go on sale to the public.
If my experience (as half season ticket holder) earlier this year tells you anything, they will be very close to sold out when they go on sale to the public. I am sure they will hold a few back, but I was sitting in the uppermost corner of the 300 level for the last Lakers game that wasn’t part of my season when I bought my extra tickets during the “before they go on sale to the public” period.
I’m going to be calling in at noon on Monday to get as many extra seats as I can for my friends. If for some reason I get some and have any left, I will post here.

My season ticket holder thingy
I’m getting season tickets for the first time next year. I’m getting two playoff tickets for every playoff game, and at the end of each round I have to pay for them I believe. Maybe beginning? Dunno. Either way, it’s just a round by round basis depending on how far we go.
Also, I can get up to 4 tickets for individual games if I read my E-mail right.
by Zaig on Apr 10, 2009 9:44 AM PDT reply actions 0 recs

I’ve only been in lower bowl once this year and we had a pretty fun group around us. Sadly it was that Philly game we lost… but the guys around us were giving Steve and Woody some serious crap. We also stood before any other group down there during the OT.

Some games my section was roaring, and other games you could hear me yelling on the court (KG looked right at me as I was heckling him a little and calling him a big baby or something. Whining about a foul of course)

If you don’t mind me asking.
by Timmay! on Apr 10, 2009 10:53 AM PDT up reply actions 0 recs
Not yet
It looks like the preseason tickets are included, so that’s about 1000 out the gate that i’m short.
Most games sold but I think I had about seven or so I gave away. Most others only sold for approx face value or just under. Only the lakers and cavs sold for more for me.
Part of my problem may be that i have three seats and I don’t split them when i put them up.
The goal is not to be better, the goal is to be the best.
by ratbastird on Apr 10, 2009 10:58 AM PDT up reply actions 0 recs
IF my tickets sell for the playoffs
then I believe i’ll break even minus the games I attended.
If we go to the second round and I can sell for the same price, then that will have paid for all the games I attended.
I haven’t actually sat down to do the math, but that’s the ball park.

Interesting.
I’ll still consider season tickets in the future. With me being so far away though, it’s really just an expensive way to have the occasional seat available, plus playoff tickets. It’s hard to do considering the cost.
by Timmay! on Apr 10, 2009 11:01 AM PDT up reply actions 0 recs
yeah
I’m not sure how many will be available next year. I know my section and the white section are sold out.
If you’re okay losing a fourth of what you pay, but recognize that you can make more of it back during the play-offs and be okay if you don’t, then it works well. At least for the seating i have.
Plus, you get neat blazer stuff and can meet the blazers in person. it’s short notice though. I couldn’t go this year.

Are the Lexus club seats worth it?
Or is it just better to find closer seats?
by Timmay! on Apr 10, 2009 10:12 AM PDT reply actions 0 recs
I like the closer seats
they used to be called “VIP”. You get food with it (I believe you do now, before you could just order and pay at your seat), but the view is better closer. The Lexus section tends to be a bit further back. White and fuschia are the best seats.
Then again, if they’re twice as cheap, you’ll get some decent bang for your buck. Seats aren’t terrible, but I like being closer.

I didn’t expect the resale site to go live this morning, it originally was listed for the 13th.
The resale site is fully reliable since it’s through the Blazers themselves, correct?
by Timmay! on Apr 10, 2009 10:15 AM PDT reply actions 0 recs
It's as reliable as the blazers
the process is automated.
As a season ticket holder, I post tickets. When they sell I receive notification that they’ve sold. I believe the buyer receives an email with the tickets and makes null and void any printed tickets.
The goal is not to be better, the goal is to be the best.

Yup
I’m on the selling end though, so I could be mistaken, but I’m fairly positive that’s how it works. What I don’t know is if the blazers tack on a ticket charge or something. It sounds like they do to the buyers, but I’m not sure.

Definitely. I groaned when I saw that.
It’s through ticketmaster, so no surprise I guess. My wife is onboard with this one (she felt bad we couldn’t go to tomorrow’s game).
I considered Stubhub, which has similar-priced tickets, but I figured going through the Blazers should be more reliable.
If your Stubhub ticket is invalid, you likely wouldn’t find out until the day of the event. Sure, you’ll get the ticket money refunded… but in my case, I’d have done a flight and hotel, and still couldn’t go to the game.
by Timmay! on Apr 10, 2009 10:52 AM PDT up reply actions 0 recs
Stubhub
is more work for me as a seller too. I’m sure i could sell more and make more because it’s a wider audience, but actually managing tickets and the lack of being able to send it out by email sucked. they had a season ticket option, but based on what i read it was for the entire season, not the few games i could attend.

I'm willing to pay $60.00 for 2 Red Section Tickets to a playoff game (No preference on Game #). Email me at valuevtim@gmail.com if you're willing to sell your tickets.

Are the ticket prices in the resale center after the 15% fee?

ummm
I BELIEVE, and please correct me if I’m wrong, that the price listed is the price before the fee. When I look at it without logging on, it’s the same price as when I’m logged on, which is the same price I’m selling it for without the fee.
So, i’m pretty sure that’s tacked on right as you’re paying.

That's correct.
The ticket prices you see on the resale site are before the 15% service fee is added, plus a $6 order fee (I’ve checked my confirmation mail and confirmed.). When you are ready to buy, you’ll get a pop-up notification of the final price, with a message saying it will be charged immediately. Click ok, and they’ll give you a confirmation after completion.
So plan accordingly when you use the site, everyone.

I haven't called yet.
I figured the lines would be swamped.

Anyone able to get through?
Tired of getting the “all circuits are busy now” message and wondering if there is any other way to get through.

I don't know
I figured I’d call later today. Seating isn’t as important to me as I figure it will be for some. They’ll either be sold out when i call or have a few more later tonight.

I got through after 50 minutes
Only to be on hold for about 5 and get transfered to voice mail. Didn’t even get to speak with a real person. Still, nothing saying they are sold out.

I would love tickets
Ive seen people post that they would be willing to part with extra ticks. If any of my true fellow blazer fans have a couple extra tickets Im willing to pay over face value, but I also am poor like every other person in our bad economy. Thanks for the help. shaneevenhus@yahoo.com
