Z-Bo better than Chris Bosh?
...well, at least one person thinks so.
Somebody needs to tell Zach there's a reason he's never made an All-Star team or been invited to play in the Olympics.
Boy am I glad this guy is out of Portland.

Well obviously I Zach Randolph am better than Bosh since the Clippers have won so much more than the Raptors...no...wait
But the Knicks are much better this year…uhm…what?…just two games you say? Whatever. Better.
And my titles…not so many?…seriously? Ha ha, but 2003-04 Most Improved Player award. Eat that Chris.
But advanced stats prove my worth: 19.94 in PER. What? He has 2 more points? Never under 20 the last 4 years? Ugh!
But you also have to account for that I’m so much cheaper. I make just $14,666,667 vs. Chris making an enormous $14,410,581…mhm…
And my devilish good looks.

Well, if it came to fisticuffs
My money is on Z-Bo. He’d play dirty, and Bosh is too soft to fight a Z-Bo.
I remember Z-Bo being similarly shocked when we traded him, and how gooder he woulda’ made us last year. He also said something similar about Pau Gasol after Pau got his big pay day, which was right before Zach signed his big deal.
I’m glad Z-Bo exists because you can point to him, and players like him, as great examples of why you need bigs who play at least SOME defense or you will never be truly good. Perimeter players, you can get away with one or two bad defenders… but even one bad interior defender submarines everything. You can surround Zach with the best defensive talent in the game, everyone gets beat and once they beat the wing defender all they gotta do is walk by Z-Bo as he half-assedly waves his arms at the ball.
I’m glad Z-Bo thinks so highly of himelf though, because it’s been a tough few years with the trades and uncertainty, and if you don’t got faith in yourself, how can you expect others to have faith in you?
In many ways Z-Bo gets a bad rap when he truly is an incredibly gifted low post scorer (does anyone have as many low post moves, or do more with less athleticism, than he?), but his complete lack of defense and his ballhogging ways (plus his already established bad reputation) will always make him a non-allstar.
My favorite part of the Clippers trading for him is now their announcers (who I like a lot, especially Ralph Lawler) now have to talk nicely about Z-Bo when I remember them expounding at length about what a cancer he is and how they’d never want him on their team back when he was a Blazer and Knick. Made it funny to watch them praise the trade and say how great he is.
Awww, but what can ya do. They gotta eat just like the rest of us.

“I’m better than Chris Bosh,” he said.
Told that line will make headlines, Zach gave a dismissive wave and said, “I’d tell him to his face.”
